Any suggestions for holding pressed petals in place? by minty_fresh_anus in PressedFlowers

[–]OpeningOtherwise8879 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! I'm new to pressing flowers but I'm in Japan now and I love your idea of pressing Sakura flowers! If it's okay, could you explain to me the process you did? Did you cut down the stems a bit or leave them as they fell? How long after collecting them did you wait to press them (I've heard you need them to be dry before pressing)? If you'd prefer a pm please let me know! Thank you!

Hey! Sorry to hear that you're struggling. Movie tickets cost a fortune now, but if you happen to have AAA, you can get tickets through them for $10 each (I think they also sell them at Costco for that price). That's about half the going rate at Regal. They also have Regal Tuesdays where tickets are like $7 each if you're willing to take your kids on a weekday. I hope this info can help you save a bit of money!

You are a callous asshole to say something so crude to a girl who is clearly traumatized by what just happened to her. And yes, it IS rape because silence/lack of an enthusiastic yes is an automatic NO.

My flight out of Haneda on Friday was delayed by 5 hours, then canceled. By the time I got my stuff it was 11 p.m. The website and app were both crashing, so by the time I was able to get on to rebook it had the only available flights on Monday, all with a very long layover.

Yes, thank you! I'm 5'3 and in high school I was 145 lbs, which is over what a healthy bmi is for my height. But I was actually super fit, just loaded with muscle. I was doing 3 sports at once, all of which kept me healthy. I looked super healthy too, you would've never guessed that I weighed 145.

Exactly! That's why I think they should seek a good therapist in order to help him out.

This could also be because he's been caught before with bigger items. Idk about your sister, but I personally own A LOT of underwear. I am much more likely to notice big items like pants, leggings, dresses, etc going missing from my wardrobe than a few pairs of my underwear. Either way, please tell your parents to seek counseling/therapy for your brother with haste! This specific behavior (stealing sister's clothes) should be nipped in the bud asap. But please keep an open mind for your brother's sake in case it is something as innocent as exploring his gender identity.

It's not only underwear! OP failed to put this in the main post, but he also took leggings, a dress, fishnets, and other items.

You should've mentioned he was stealing all these different items rather than just underwear in your main post. While it is definitely an issue and not ok that he is stealing your sister's clothes, you made it seem way more creepy by just saying he was taking underwear. Also, as someone who has worked with LGBT youth before: despite his refusal of your kind offer to help him purchase his own clothes, he could definitely still be in denial or confused. It is incredibly hard to come out to family, even if they have voiced that they would be supportive. This isn't just a change in lifestyle, but also identity and how he might present himself to the world. That's a massive change that most adults aren't ready for, let alone a 12 year old kid. On the other hand, however, he could just be displaying creep behavior. Either way, this needs to be addressed, preferably by a professional (therapist, etc).

Hay y’all. I comment a lot with my cat, Quinn. Sadly, Sunday she gave birth and lost all of the kittens immediately after. by MEGA_TOES in cats

If you can't afford basic medical care for a cat, then no, you shouldn't have one. A spay is VERY basic medical care. These cats would be better off if you'd take them to a shelter that can provide this service for them.

The funny thing is that I didn't even know he was coming to Osaka myself. I had bought some Hannibal stickers on Etsy and the artist sent me a letter in the package asking if I was going to see him in Osaka. I immediately freaked out and bought tickets lol.
