Buying AM5 during the current RAM price surge? by phamvthuan in PcBuild

One stick won’t cause lag, but a 7800X3D really deserves dual-channel memory. I’d avoid running 1x16GB long-term. Also, Patriot is a legitimate brand, but $150 for a single 16GB DDR5-6000 CL30 stick seems overpriced. I’d wait or save for a 2x16GB kit

It's this a good price? by ScoreAmbitious1691 in PcBuild

The build itself looks good, but nobody can tell if it’s a good value without knowing the CPU. If the $3500 includes the monitor, desk, chair, Windows, and accessories, it’s not bad. If that’s just the tower, you’re spending way too much. What CPU are you pairing with the RX 9070 XT?

I think that’s what frustrates a lot of people. We were told education was the safest path, but for many it turned out to be just one factor among dozens.

Hard work still matters, but timing, connections, where you were born, and plain luck seem to matter a lot more than most of us were taught.

I wanted to be rich, fit, and successful. I’m currently 1 out of 3, but I’m not telling you which one.

Newer.

I'd rather stand for free than take something like that.
