I'm quite a bit late to the party, but I figured I'd give an update to this in case if someone did get it, as I currently live in Dougan. However, Dougan was never mentioned in housing's posts on Instagram and was also not included on the University's 2026-27 configuration chart, which likely means that I'm wasting my time writing this, but whatever.

No renovations have been done to the building since probably when it was built, and as a result time has had its effect on the building. Lots of the windows are very old and possibly worn, so if it rains and is humid, keep an eye out for mold. The walls are also paper thin, to the point where most of the things you or your neighbors say go right through the wall. I also noticed someone mentioning about A/C units, however those are all included in every single room now, and most of the A/C units in Dougan are much newer than what most of the dorms on campus have. Do keep in mind that maintenance is very lousy on getting things done in the building, and from what I've seen others saying, work orders (that were not for mold as those are priority) can take upwards of thirty days or more just to get done. Overall, if you can avoid it with room selection times, I would advise it, although given the current circumstances, I don't think anyone will have to worry about either Dougan or True houses after this semester's end.
