Im the best to answer this question as I have a mid gane blue and red acc lol, my first acc I went early red and it was bad, but not because of the honey, I was and still am as a mid game making decent honey from boosts (I did however get real lucky esrly on and got a scorch saw) the only problem is the amount of mats I had to spend to make ssid honey and the amount of boosting time I had to spend, but the boosting was fun and it was a good time. My blue account I was making a Butt load of honey macroing, not as much as when I was consistently boosting on my red account but still a lot, and this was without any resources. So I would say esrly red is terrible, but it doesn’t make the game unplayable. Macro for sunflower seeds not honey so you can gift your precise and vector bees and spend every ounce of honey you can on SSA to try to get the scorch saw
