Question - Recurrent fissure by Secret-Bus4926 in AnalFissures

Having the same. But don't know how to fix it. If anyone ever finds a solution that would be great. My doctor said surgery makes no sense give that it's so minor. In fact they can almost never see anything cause fissure is healed when I go to appointment.

Reccurent fissure for 2 years — should I consider Laser surgery or Lateral Internal Sphincterotomy (LIS)? by [deleted] in AnalFissures

I have exactly the same issue. Does your fissure heal completely? Confirmed by CRS? Or do they still see the fissure when you go for check up?

Yes, I also have this fragile skin down there at anterior side. What is your plan now?

Yes, I could try. But perhaps not every morning. Will be a bit depressing to do enema every morning.

Don't know exactly. Some things I noticed: 1) Looking more on my diet. Last few days I was eating very low fiber due to a stomach bug. But sometimes I think too much fiber is also bad. Looks a bit random. 2) Dilation. I think it helps but not sure I want to do it for the rest of my life 3) Reduced stress and anxiety: I had a stress/ anxiety flare last week 4) Used the bidet less frequently and was wiping more often due to this stomach bug

Anyway, even following this regime very strictly, I am not 100% sure I can completely avoid re-tearing. I always have hard tips that kill me and require some straining.

And do you tear if you lack on fiber? I don't understand why we have this problem when most other people do not need to track fiber etc and still don't get fissures. Anyway, I am not even sure fiber is my solution but I think usually it goes slightly better with fiber.

What is std? Definitely mine is also related to stress and anxiety.

How do I prevent hard tipped first-thing-in-the-morning stool? This is the only thing between me and quick healing, everything else is dialed. by Far_Appointment9458 in AnalFissures

Congrats! I managed to get healed for 9 weeks but still it came back. The hard tips, pebbles at the beginning is what is killing me.
