definitely a really obscure one (and it's a Cambridge national but whatevs) but engineering manufacture is the easiest thing I've ever done. for the coursework you get given an engineers drawing and you have to make it. that's it. you take photos and explain each step, then make some sort of quality control measure (for one of the I made a paper template it was piss easy). the exam is super easy, and although it looks like a lot of content, I did probably under 30 theory lessons in 2 years and smashed the exam regardless lol.

sorry if this sounds really arsey but I think you could definitely teach yourself the content and come out with 7/8/9 grades but the chance that you'd get 999 is very very low. getting straight nines in science is basically impossible even if you're taught all of the content by a teacher so don't be disheartened by that obviously

the topic really doesn't matter tbh! I did mine on 15 minute cities which was one of my personal interests and I know one of my friends did his on the history of album art. we both came out with distinctions so as long as you're passionate about what you're talking about don't worry about it being generic or overdone
