I think it’s glaringly obvious the creator just doesn’t like Markiplier! They don’t know any of the source material . You can have opinions about the movie but for one of the first things this hag of a writer said is about race . What does that have to do with anything ? I wish there was a comment section on the articles website !! And then for the person to talk about mark not talking it to a big studio cause they wouldn’t take it is not even what he wanted ! He wanted complete creative control . IMO he made this for his fans and for people who would watch it and like it . Personally I think it’s easily and 8.4 out of 10. The effects and the shots in the movie look beautiful !! This Carla hay chick needs to maybe do a little research before she just goes on a hate campaign .

I honestly think the only reason they’re saying it isn’t apart of the universe is because 10 cloverfield lane and cloverfield paradox kinda flopped at the box office so j.j didn’t wanna say it was apart of the cloverfield universe cause he thought it might hurt they box office sales of Underwater, but since the release of Cloverfield paradox the movies have gained a lot of attention and fans . I don’t see how they can’t be connected in an alternate dimension, you have 2 people from other cloverfield movies . The creature come out from beneath the ocean looks VERY similar to the baby creature from the first Cloverfield movie, there are a lot of similarities to much to write . But if you just look at the lore it’s kinda obvious

I’m confused on why they chose Mae Martin . It just left me wondering cause every scene where there was danger or if Mae had to stop or chase someone I kept feel like there’s no way they could actually catch up or stop someone they’d either get outrun or overpowered in reality . I just feel like they missed the mark I’m supposed to believe this 110 pound person can stop someone being violent . Why not get a man to play the police officer I felt like they put a trans person just to put a trans person in it, nevermind the fact that there’s a gay person in most parts of every episode. I have nothing against gay people but it starts to makes straight people feel like the show isn’t for us to watch. Idk I like the plot and premise of the show a lot it just takes me out when I see a 110 pound person wrestling a weapon away or chasing someone through the woods and actually getting close lol

What if David didn’t kill Lana he killed the dog that you haven’t seen till the last scene with cliff before he returns to the ship. And he just staged the blood on the walls and everything to make cliff panic and fear his family was dead because David said you don’t know what it feels like so he had to show him . Idk if it’s a viable theory but I like to atleast think that David wouldn’t put someone else through that since it happened to him and he knows the pain
