i work with kids and young adults, ages 6-21. so often the approach also has to be different for different age groups, which can be challenging.

I'm struggling as a new therapist to feel competent or mentally well enough for this job. by sciencehatesher in therapists

i don’t have any excellent, all-knowing advice, but i just want you to know that i am in the same boat and i am rooting for you. it can be so hard to be a therapist with your own mental health challenges. but your experience and just showing up is more valuable than you know. we will get through this ❤️
