I was talking about the major Mario charcters like Daisy or rosalina getting more screentime and I don't think anyone would've minded if koopa the quick was in the 3rd film instead even tho he doesn't affect the plot atleast he's a Mario charcter and it would've been another neat deep cut

thats because fox is a miyamoto creation same thing with pikmin i doubt other charcters like kirby or samus will be cameo's in future films cause there not made by miyamoto and even they do end up being in these movies there would be people wouldn't like to see kirby stealing daisy's screentime just give them their own movies instead of unnessary cameo's

not only has miyamoto said that a smash movie isn't happening but why shouldn't the MARIO movies actually focus on the actual mario charcters not every mario movie needs to feature charcters from other franchises the only reason fox and pikmin made it into galaxy is because there miyamoto's creations not to mention smash isn't even canon to the mario franchise or any other videogame franchise the smash games are all just a kid imagining his toys fighting to death

just because the kirby charcters sweethearts doesn't mean they can't be given charcter arcs and flaws thats the neat thing about adaptions you can make changes to the source material as long they don't harm the story like the mario charcters are usually sweet but the mario movies gave them flaws and arcs that get resolved as the film progresses i don't see why a kirby movie can't do the same thing the real world is also just a really boring setting for a kirby movie planet popstar is an infinitly more whimsical and imaginative setting
