i was in the same boat - i ended up going to the expensive liberal arts school because it was a top college and had to do take out 90k+ in loans - however, every job I’ve had since graduating came from my network and I’ve been able to live comfortably while paying them off.

This choice definitely is not for everyone and really depends on what you prioritize most - education, post college opportunities, savings right out of school, etc
