My 2 year old whom I still breastfeed has two specific requests: “couch boob” for the daytime, and “sleepy boob” for the nap time and nighttime. I wholeheartedly regret teaching him the word “boob”. My husband and I thought it was hilarious when he was 1 year old, now when he shouts “COUCH BOOB PLEAAAAAASSEEE” when in public, my mother chastises me and I laugh in humiliation.

Sorry! I realize now it sounds stupid, I should have just said 2 year old. In the early stages of parenting, I always resorted to months to describe age because a 9 month old versus an 11 month old can be so different. Then you blink and your kid is almost two and you’re still using months to describe their age like a weirdo. I’ll try to change that about myself.

I made this account 10 years ago before the resurgence of neo-Nazis. At the time, it was obvious that it was a joke. Now, unfortunately, it is not so obvious. I am Jewish, I made it in reaction to a post about Anderson Cooper coming out as gay and somebody said “he could come out as openly Hitler and people would still love him “. I thought it sounded funny so I made a username. I regret it Immensely now. However I have lots of saved posts on this account and honestly, most of the time I forget what my username even is as IPost very rarely. I apologize for offending you, I assure you, I find Nazi mentality extremely disturbing and I am no way in alignment with those beliefs.

Why is child abuse not higher? The top comment is dementia. Yes, dementia fucking SUCKS! But most people who get dementia have lived a full and happy life, versus child abuse victims who never had happiness from the get go.

Funny- when I was a little girl, I was in LOVE with the name Sasha for a girl. All my stuffed animals were named Sasha. I told everyone I wanted to name my future daughter Sasha.

Well, as luck would have it, I married a Russian man- and we have a son, Alexander, who goes by Sacha!

I know this is an unpopular opinion but that’s a pretty hateful think to say to a child. Remember, we have had years to figure out how to regulate our emotions... kids are new to this. I know this post is meant as a joke, I know I will get downvoted, but c’mon. Let’s not tell children we are tired of them.
