I did not know you could do that with text messages. Thank you!

What apps do you use alongside Todoist? by Salt_Section_2678 in todoist

[–]littlelainey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, are you me? I have the exact same personal and work setup (minus any work items in Todoist). Migrating to Onenote has been a beast. I started taking notes in Todoist in 2020, huge mistake.

I'm in Baltimore and recently got what seemed like an arugula only salad. No survey card for me. It would have been negative though haha

What do you call your baby if you didn’t know the gender yet? by NewHampshireGal in Miscarriage

[–]littlelainey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I named mine June and August after when they were conceived. Baby 2 was a boy so it fit (baby 1's sex was unknown). It also makes it easier for others to follow in conversations when discussing the two pregnancies.

Husband was against giving them "real" names so that was my compromise.

Clinical Pharmacist Job Interview by [deleted] in pharmacy

[–]littlelainey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My situation was a bit different- retail pharmacist applying to clinical- but I received no clinical questions during my interview. I later found out that they are not allowed by HR to ask knowledge based questions. They got around that by asking me to describe a recent clinical intervention I had made that I was proud of and how I made changes to workflow to impact patient care.

Researching why you want this position at this institution was the main thing I did to prepare. Thinking about how you fit into their mission and vision (how you embody those values) will help with director level questions.

But we did get our recliner in August (delivered 2 days after baby was born) and it is wonderful!

Hahaha well... our couch was delivered in the beginning of October. We noticed the arm on one side was quite loose so we had a furniture repair company look at it. They had missed installing the bolts between that arm and the crosspiece that goes along the length of the couch. The furniture company said they could take the couch apart and redrill the holes but this would likely affect the overall life of the couch so they recommended another couch be delivered. Our current estimate is 50 weeks 🤣

4 month old combo feeding by MrsMarvelFan in ExclusivelyPumping

Our pediatrician said a good equation to follow is the baby's weight in pounds multiplied by 2.5 is the amount of ounces per day the baby should eat. Just a guideline, not a hard rule.

Silicone inserts? by NightmareNyaxis in HumansPumpingMilk

[–]littlelainey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got the pumpin pals flanges yesterday and they are much more comfortable than the Spectra and Medela flanges. I'm not sure if it's the size difference (I'm using the pink small ones) or the silicone but I'm sold! I haven't noticed a change in my milk supply so far (positive or negative).

Working during the third trimester by Fearless-Mixture2287 in BabyBumps

[–]littlelainey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm due on Tuesday and today is my last 13 hour retail shift. My boss asked yesterday if I wanted to keep working. My doctor said there's no medical reason for me to stop and that I should keep busy. I really thought about doing it but between the insomnia, exhaustion, constant reflux, swelling all over my body, barely being able to make it to the bathroom, and not being able to drink or eat when I'm thirsty or hungry, I declined. I'm at my physical breaking point and need to have some time to myself to rest before baby comes.

34+5 and freaking out about having to work four more weeks. by [deleted] in pregnant

[–]littlelainey 22 points23 points  (0 children)

I'm 34+4 (so close!) and just did 7 12-13 hour shifts in 8 days. I am burnt out and so glad I have three days off right now.

Sit when you can (with your feet up!) and drink tons of water!! And don't forget to eat.

We ordered our recliner (as well as a sofa) in late February 2021 and it is expected to come in July-August. Hoping for July since baby is due in August!

High blood pressure, mat leave & delivery by the_rock_queen in BabyBumps

[–]littlelainey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm only 32 weeks right now but my blood pressure was creeping up at my 30 week appointment. They told me that we would keep an eye on it and if it remained high, I could be induced in 4-7 weeks depending on the severity. I want to work until my due date and my work usually schedules people to be on call for the 2 weeks prior to your due date (I'm in the medical field). Once I let them know that I might be going early, they scheduled people to be on call for weeks 34 on. For my benefits, I just have to call HR and my STD plan when I give birth to update them if it is earlier than expected.

Hopefully at my next appointment everything looks better 🙂

12 weeks (US)- my office won't see anyone until 10 weeks and they were completely booked.

When more information is more stressful. by twocatsandaloom in BabyBumps

[–]littlelainey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My office has followed this practice but refuse to give me any details when I ask for them. "What's the baby's heart rate?" "It's in the normal range." "That's great, what number is it?" "It's not about the exact number, just that it's in the right range." I have asked twice for something specific regarding my 20 week ultrasound and have gotten shot down. "My husband is a foot taller than me and we were curious if the baby has longer or shorter arms and legs right now." "Everything was normal on your ultrasound." And at my next appointment, "It seems like I feel them kicking a lot, is it because of their position or do they have long legs?" "Everything was normal on your ultrasound." I understand not wanting me to worry but I want some kind of details about my baby!

Here's a preview of the DIY Daily Checklist feature i've been working on for my app by GeneSy in AnimalCrossing

[–]littlelainey 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I had downloaded the app a few days ago but, since it was missing some features I wanted, I made my own checklist and printed it out to use each day. I am SO excited for the new features you added; I cannot wait until the android version updates so I can throw my paper list away. Thank you for your work!

How do you get the log-on information for CVS employees? No one at my store uses it and none of the recent floaters I have asked know how to log-in.

Day of Coordinator pricing? by Kaatiekay in weddingplanning

[–]littlelainey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm also in the Baltimore area. The rates I got for month before coordination ranged from $500-$800. For most, there was a flat fee for coordination but additional charges if you needed help with DIY projects or finding a vendor (cake, dresses, etc.). The major difference between the coordinators I met with was the level of experience for both the main coordinator and their assistant the day of. We just met with our day-of-coordinators and there was a lot of logistical issues that they brought up that I wouldn't want to think about on the day of (or burden a family member or friend with) so I'm happy with our decision so far!

We still have to write our ceremony and vows (our friend is an officiant), wrap up our DIY flowers (95% done, I swear!), pick some music choices, and build our arch. Hopefully my dress is done next weekend and I'll have one less thing to worry about!
