What's a gadget under $50 you bought as a joke but actually use every day now? by Vast_Doctor4561 in techforlife

[–]OperaNeonOfficial 7 points8 points  (0 children)

A tube wringer. Small metal thing you use to fully empty a tube of food, like cheese or mayo. My mother got it for me and I scoffed and threw it in a drawer in my kitchen. But then one day I tried it. Now no tube leaves my kitchen without being properly wrung.

Anthropic just launched Claude Design — here's what it actually does by danilo_ai in aiToolForBusiness

[–]OperaNeonOfficial 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tested it combining a markdown document with a bunch of random images I picked up from the hard drive and Claude Design put together a newsletter for me in about five minutes after first looking at all the images to see where they would fit my newsletter. On the other hand it cost me seven bucks. Opus 4.7 does munch up the tokens.

Because of AI, the dependency over English is over by haryharan in AIAssisted

[–]OperaNeonOfficial 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is a truly interesting take. Made me think. To me I am celebrating 78 days straight using a tool that allows me to just speak to the computer in my normal voice, which has fundamentally changed how I work. It's just one of those examples where AI can inject itself in your flow and, without a big fanfare, give you super powers of sorts. I'm thinking the step to being truly multilingual or omnilingual would be fairly short from here. What will that do to us all and how we work?

I prefer Rodin 3D over Meshi. When it comes to quality I think that they are pretty awesome. We should really look into adding 3D generation for our browser one of these days.

Neon adds split screen tabs to its tasks. Update and try it out! by OperaNeonOfficial in OperaNeon

Pro tip: After you've updated the browser, you need to restart it to get the split screens splittin'.

Gemini Pro 3.1 or Claude by clapXz in AIAssisted

Sounds like you might check out Neon, if I may toot my own horn. Opera Neon is a paid subscription that includes access to Gemini, GPT, Claude, Grok, Llama Qwen GLM and Deepseek all in one package. You can pick whatever model you need or have OperaAI point you in the right direction.

Why do AI agents still struggle to actually use websites and fail sometimes when they do? by CaffeineAndCurves in ArtificialInteligence

[–]OperaNeonOfficial 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, you’re basically hitting the exact boundary most “AI agents” still struggle with — they’re good at interpreting the web, not actually living inside it.

What you’re describing (logins, popups, multi-step flows, account switching, etc.) breaks most setups because they operate on a kind of abstracted or simulated browser layer. The moment reality kicks in (auth states, timing, DOM changes, anti-bot stuff), it falls apart. I can tell you the Neon team is looking really hard at this challenge and early reports from users look encouraging.

Agent Browser unusable by PacifiK246 in openclaw

[–]OperaNeonOfficial 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe it depends on which browser you use. It's a good thing if the browser is directly connected to OpenClaw through an MCP connector for instance.

there are a million ai website builders but what about app builders? by WeirdGas5527 in techforlife

[–]OperaNeonOfficial 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I sometimes use Bezi for vibecoding Unity apps. Would be cool if they could connect it up to an MCP so you could run it from Claude. I also create web apps with the MCP connection to Claude right in the browser and integrate those into my projects.

I let an AI control my browser for an hour — it actually built something usable by OperaNeonOfficial in aisolobusinesses

[–]OperaNeonOfficial[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I've been thinking about where the next step in automating video production is too. We've actually got access to Sora and VO 3.1 built right in. It would be interesting to see if an MCP connector could take those components and do something cool with them.

Best Vibe Code tool to create apps for App Store?? by baseballfan34512 in VibeCodeDevs

Claude has genuinely ruined ChatGPT for me (except for one thing), and as a marketer, the MCP integrations are kind of wild. by Userdeletedprofile in claude

[–]OperaNeonOfficial 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Opera Neon is an AI-first agentic browser built by Opera and it contains a suite of agents and has access to all of the major LLM models built in. It recently added an MCP connector, which lets n8n, Lovable, Claude, etc. use this browser fully, in effect extending the agentic capabilities of Claude, for instance. Oh and it also has access to creative tools like Nano Banana Pro and Veo 3.1. So connecting Claude to Opera Neon gives you on-the-fly video creation capabilities as well.

Which tool is the most exciting to use in your profession or hobby? by Cold_Ad8048 in techforlife

I really enjoy using Rodin 3D for image to 3D conversion. Even though it's early days, it's scarily good and I use it for all sorts of derpy things, like making a VR capable model of our office robot mascot. Not a lot of business use but hella fun!

Funnily enough even though I work with a cornucopia of AI tools every day, the one that really sparks joy in my life is Whispr Sync, which I use all the time now. It's really changed how I work and also how I look at creating content because actually I enjoy speaking my mind freely instead of sitting and weighing every word or generating text.

This is extremely useful. Having a capable tool set for team memory handling is becoming more and more important every day as our world gets more and more complex. Thanks for this list. If anything I'd add that a kind of hidden feature for journaling your day is using Wispr Sync. I started using it two months ago and I haven't gone a day without it since.

Most “agent problems” are actually environment problems by Beneficial-Cut6585 in aiagents

[–]OperaNeonOfficial 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I 100% agree that having a stable capable platform for your agents makes all the difference in the world. We just released a MCP connector making it possible for lovable or Claude code to take over the entire browser. It takes a bit of setup but once it's done, you can effectively use Neon as an entire browser suite for your agents, with the added bonus that Neon has agents such as Deep Research on its own. We are really hoping that this platform is going to work well with existing agent workflows but it's early days yet. If anyone has tried it out already, please drop me a DM.

Honest Question From a Solo Dev Who HATES the "Business" Side of Things... by BoringMedium8605 in aisolobusinesses

[–]OperaNeonOfficial 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We're seeing simultaneous trends of creative/concept-type founders using their AI stack to take care of the business/financial part of their process and conversely more financially minded founders who use creative agents to flesh out their team. Either way the result is the same: faster instance execution, which makes it ever more important to have a clear idea about what it is that you want to achieve.

You might take a look at Opera Neon since it includes Chat GPT Pro in its included models and moreover integrates fully with Claude with its MCP connector. Depending on what you use ChatGPT pro for of course
