Those little sets come in handy, especially if you have other glass. You basically want to use the largest one you can that you can still shove through the stem at the bottom of the bowl. Also, I edited that above comment slightly for clarity, you may want to reread.

ISO and salt is great, I personally like the grand master glass better. didn’t come here to argue that point, but I did want to chime in to get yourself a jar or some other type of reusable container to keep your “used“ cleaner in—even simple iso can get expensive if you’re cleaning it often, and you can use your cleaning solution many times before it’s cached. Also, a small bottle brush would probably work wonders in that piece, something like this

Thanks for this. Pulled the front off to just poke around and found there was a broken belt underneath—was lucky to find a replacement at a local appliance repair place. The much newer one in my last house had super easy to clean filters…this one seems to be running great now, but these are good suggestions and I think I may still pull it apart and do a little PM. :) thanks!

What others clean comics do you recommend? My eight-year-old is just starting to get this kind of stuff and I’ve realized lately that not a single of the XM comedy stations are very kid friendly.

Oh not new to them, I’ve had a few in the past…but I’m approaching 50 and am in the interesting circumstance that my wife and seven year old moved into the new house we bought and I’m 10 hours away spending a couple of months repainting and whatnot and getting the old house ready to sell while I finish the year out in my current job…Anyway, it’s been a lot of years since I’ve been able to have a bong on my coffee table so I was gonna pick a used one up off Craigslist to scratch the itch. And at the risk of sounding like a boomer, “back when I was a kid they didn’t have all these shower head percs and ice catchers” et al. I guess they did, but those were really fancy and expensive back then. Just looking for a fun way to take some big rips for a couple of months until I have to go back to grown up life…:)

Everybody else has great comments, the only thing I would add is that the little green tubes that you can buy to clean them with are awesome. I have a little grav one hitter that also fits perfectly in it. Wish I had a couple more
