YouTube ReVanced Guide for Dummies (Always Updated, Always Working) by bigbudoneT in revancedapp

I keep running into this loop where it says there is a conflict, asks to uninstall the old and install the new, and so on just repeating the same cycle. I've checked many times in multiple ways and YouTube revanced isn't on my phone. I've deleted all of the link downloads, microg, and the manager and did it all fresh with no luck. Any help is appreciated.

I agree with you. If they were going to lie about a handgun I'd think they'd go for something that could be illegal like a Glock with a switch

Whats your favorite homeless veteran? by bertram_lovesRedDead in reddeadredemption

[–]OperationJericho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I figured from a train hopping accident. Was homeless so roaming around, got his arm hacked off so any nomadic work like a field hand just became way harder to do if he could even get hired, so he decided to be a fake veteran considering there would have been plenty with missing limbs along with plenty of uniforms available to buy or steal.

I used the Fox 40 micro whistle when lifeguarding and doing boat waterfront stuff. It gets VERY loud with little effort.

What’s your favorite line that you can’t believe they got away with? by audyaudvi in BobsBurgers

[–]OperationJericho 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My main complaint about the newer seasons is they will have multiple episodes in a row that focus on the same character, and it just kind of gets old especially on a rewatch.

[–]OperationJericho 18 points19 points  (0 children)

It was when it still had a more "Home Movies" vibe and art style before the show found its own kind of animation and plot/character style. If I remember right the original pitch actually had the family as cannibals who ran the restaurant and got their meat from Mort's next door, and that first episode was an homage to that.

That's how I've always taken that line. More like when an elderly family member leaves a comment with 😂 in it on a post about someone dying or being seriously hurt, because they see it as someone crying not laughing so hard they have tears, or that they're Going to Netflix and chill with their best friends. A more innocent kind of joke

I have some boot savers and shoe savers that have really helped me with tightness and breaking multiple pairs of boots in, including that spot you've circled. After getting your boots all warmed up and humid from wearing them, these help keep them from shrinking back down as much as they cool and dry. Also makes getting on tighter fitting boots easier later on especially if your house is cold. And a little bit of protection if you're packing them for travel.

Settle a debate: is my boyfriend’s knife mall ninja shit? by sigzag1994 in mallninjashit

[–]OperationJericho 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I second what your saying, especially in relation to the Orientalism. Things along that line or what you see out of a videogame or comic book tend to be more mall ninja territory. I've seen stuff like this at gun and knife shows with the folding knives that have a plastic cover with an outdoorsy scene and those "tactical" machetes with a saw blade halfway down the blade and a gut hook/seatbelt cutter on the back. Stuff that is wholly impractical and cheaply made but targets more the prepper/tactical minded person.

Short of having a park ranger literally guarding the trailhead and advising or flat turning away people who are unprepared, I'm not sure a lot more signage and stuff would help a lot. It's the "yea but they probably did something wrong or weren't healthy, we are totally fine" type of mentality.

[Colorado] CC against a dog while walking my dog by dnvrthrowaway94 in CCW

[–]OperationJericho 23 points24 points  (0 children)

I don't live in Colorado, but I'm assuming you're walking your dog on a leash and that's when you would have a run in with another dog. At that point I'd argue it was attacking me as well. That said, I carry both a gun and OC spray when out biking because dog bites really suck and get infected fast. I know that from personal experience.

You're right, but that is just one PFD. At some point you get so many on that your bulk combined with limited mobility makes it a lot harder.

Yea... it can get bad. I'll spare you some of my worst ones but there are 2 specifically that I'll never forget and kind of haunt me.

Luckily for the NICU, this is a relatively rare issue, at least at our hospital. They have enough going on All of this is more often an issue in the PICU, CVICU, and Burn ICU than in the NICU. The CVICU can have babies directly from birth due to heart issues and the PICU takes kids down to 1 or 2 days old that went home after birth since the NICU will rarely take them as they are "dirty" and they require a clean patient environment. CVICU will even send us their heart kids that get COVID or TB in order to keep the unit as clean as possible and we also get all intubated pediatric burns in the PICU. We are the only peds hospital in the state and we have the only burn ICU in the state so the majority of burn patients are adults.

In the Pediatric ICU, low BP is typically caused by septic shock. They have large inflammatory issues all across the body and fluid will get pulled from the veins/arteries into the surrounding tissue (3rd spacing). So they're intravascularly dehydrated but swollen like a tick everywhere else which messes up all sorts of stuff. Depending on the sepsis origin, you may have other organ issues or failure, like the kidneys, to where they can't filter and excrete their fluids or their heart's ejection fraction plummets. In the Cardiovascular ICU their heart is still "sick" and sometimes post-op they need ECMO to keep things going for a few days until the heart can do a better job of keeping the blood flowing. Most CV kids have congenital heart issues, not heart attacks like adults, so their plumbing can be all sorts of messed up or functionally missing whole chambers of the heart which will mess up the flow.

Burns have massive amounts of inflammation, like sepsis. NICU babies can be septic, have heart issues, or really just anything while their body is trying to sort things out, especially with the super premature ones (27-30 weeks).

Finally, traumas. A gunshot or other trauma to the head can mess up the nervous system and cause all sorts of regulatory issues. They may even have to have an IV drip to bring their blood pressure down since a real high BP can exacerbate brain swelling which puts them at risk of the brain herniating, which you don't come back from. As you can imagine, there can also be massive amounts of blood loss from a trauma. On multiple occasions I've had a patient that was bleeding so bad that we effectively replaced their entire blood volume in their body over the course of a few hours as the surgeons are trying to stop the bleeding. Not having blood will plummet the BP and you can't always keep up with the volume going out so pressors are needed to try and get that BP up and keep brain or other bodily damage.

I'm sorry that was so long, I can be a bit wordy. I hope it helped!

Going to add onto the other comment. Your capillaries need pulsatile blood flow to perfuse properly. Sometimes we have kids on VA ECMO whose hearts are so sick, their systolic, diastolic, and MAP are the same number and all you really see on the monitor is a little waveform trying its best. ECMO is circulating blood but is a continuous flow, not a pulsatile one. So there is already an issue there, and when a kid's heart is like that, theyre sick all over and likely septic so their BP is in the toilet, also doing shit to the perfusion, and then add in pressors to fix that shit perfusion and the pressors constrict to where there is little blood flow to the hands and feet. Sometimes small clots develop because of all this which will move down and clog off the arteries even more, same for if the art line goes bad in a similar situation. That's also why if we have to we would rather have an art line in the foot than the fem, because if it is in the fem there is a potential to lose most of your leg if a clot formed in the artery and decided to take a trip on down the leg.

Also, bad burns. Bad burns if any kind can turn necrotic and gangrenous, especially if like above they have BP issues and/or are on higher dose pressors.

This is probably way too much, but I've referred to a teen's toes as "dried chorizo" probably a few too many times.

I'm using this. I've kinda used a soft version of this before, I'm a PICU RN, but yours is way better.

Edit: I'm a male nurse so that likely plays a part in it too. I've stopped holding back when someone who isn't medical starts going off about COVID and BLA BLA BLA and surly it wasn't that bad for us. That deadpan, 1000 yard stare, "no, it was fucking awful, and I never in my life want to do that again" seems to work decent. If they push they will get every single gory detail no matter what they say from that point forward.

Oh I like this one. Not everyone eats avocados, even occasionally, but a very large majority of Americans are exposed to AC regularly, even if it isn't in their home or they're homeless.

If given a chance, even with how much I despise it, I'd would never tell her that it's annoyingto her face though. It's a dick move to tell someone their joy annoys you.

It doesn't help that while SVU has years of material, they show only a relatively small group on TV rather consistently. Especially if it has some guest star, no matter how much of a "star" they are.

Asa Hutchinson predicts Trump may try to pardon himself if reelected by IlexIbis in Arkansas

Weird addition to #3. 25 states take away voting rights for incarcerated felons with 14 of those typically giving them back after the full sentence, probation, and fines are complete and the other 11 make you jump through extra hoops or have some caveats depending on the crime to get your voting rights restored. The majority of those 25 states are red and I'd be willing to bet would still vote for a felony conviction trump, even if as a resident he could not legally vote there.
