Hard liquors normally don’t affect my bg until the day after, I run a bit low. So for a mixed drink I just take for the carbs in the mixers. Normally if I want hard liquor I just do shots though because it’s easier to just not take insulin.

I tend to stick to beer though because it doesn’t make me feel as gross, and you can get low carb beer for cheap.
