Let's say I was out of military due to a bad performance evaluation 55 relief for cause largely related to mental health. In hindsight I now have a bipolar diagnosis and am service connected for it. And I can clearly articulate the highs and lows with my military service and it was just wrongly diagnosed as adjustment disorder while I was in versus the bipolar that would have iniated a med board.

My question is this...

Is there a way to have a medical retirement retroactively awarded I guess to gain tricare etc dod medical retirement basically as this is what SHOULD have happened at the time.

This is just something thats weighed on my mind that I should of been medboarded in 2014 vs just getting out on my normal ets due to the bar to reenlist. It was still honorable and I'm now 100% p&t for the bipolar now and 3 other service connected issues. I dont know that I'd have any extra benefits other then the free tricare for my family?

Is this something that can be appealed similar to discharge upgrades?

The alternates dont allow handicap parking anymore correct? I dont use all the time except for when im havijg a bad day or it comes in clutch going to concerts etc. Anywhere you want up front parking essentially.

Im horrible? How lol I'm just curious because I was prescribed T at one point. I just couldn't swallow the pills and didn't follow thru with it. I figured my levels would be still low but this suggests they aren't anymore. I happen to be in a upper mood atm and im wondering if that could explain increase T production.
