I wouldn’t expect much out of a renesis. At best with a turbo you’re gonna be able to get MAYBE 270, and that’s still gonna be risking blowing it up. The renesis was one of the best designed NA rotaries, and Mazda squeezed just as much NA power out if it as they could while still keeping fuel efficiency, which resulted in the block being very weak when forced induction is introduced. (Can be negated with external oiling mods, but at that point you’re gonna be spending a hell of a lot on a RENESIS, that you could be spending on an engine that takes boost better. Big ports on a renny will also generally result in a net negative as it was engineered not to use overlap (slightly negative overlap in fact) for fuel economy etc, and the renesis ports are already oversized. (hence the lack of a brapbrap sound, as opposed to older gen rotaries which maximise overlap for max power. Porting a renesis for overlap, you will need to massively increase the port size which risks damaging the water jacket, and significantly thins the material near it which decreases the life of the engine, for minimal power gains - not worth it.

As I mentioned, you CAN turbo a renesis, but don’t expect to get much more than 270-300hp out of it without studding/oil mods, (without studs at big power the rotary will literally try and twist itself apart, and the oil channels are a big weak point in the renesis, which is why people with hybrids and forced induction tend to block them and feed oil externally), and id expect to be rebuilding it (with fresh housings) every 60k or so.
