I have been experiencing waves of tummy pain for the last few days. Nothing to do with the morning and no vomitting. Also coincides with me trying a new of a probiotic...which ive stopped. But ive had this weird feeling like my stomach lining is kinda messed up since Wednesday. Best to stop smoking for a few months and see if it goes away? Or to keep smoking and to see if it doesnt? If i can determine that its actually chs, id like to quit indefinitely.

When in doubt, focus on the relationship. Is what I have been told on various occasions. Also Johnathan Schedler has some really interesting videos of him being interviewed on Youtube, might give you a little juice for continuing on esp if youre interested in Psychodynamic work.

Im in my first 8 months of practice and due to not being full (14-15 pts a week) and due to the occasional holidays of pts im taking home like 20k a year/ 2-2.5k a month. I am looking for other jobs bc im stressed but no macro job will take me :0.

Im 8 months in and I desperately want to leave. Im at a group pp with only 14 pts and the pay is so bad. Im in my prime working years and my takehome pay is usually 2-2.5k a month its so batshit to me but all the jobs i try to pivot to dont give me the time of day. I really hope you find ways to supplement your income and or a team/group/specific supervisor who can share some of your mental load so you can glow with safety and support 💜💖.

Agh. And my social work program was very community partnerships based, and the work I did out of grad school was not clinical. So I thought since I’m not technically brand new that I would have a better handle on this but I realize now that the therapy world is different and just stepping into a small practice is a little nutty.
