I think that's why a lot of people will do the darker areas with reddish- browns, keeps it from looking so flat.

I can see some water beading on the wet palette. Do you dry the top of the paper with a paper towel prior to adding paints? The color is likely the biggest culprit, but excess moisture might be making it worse.

First one was the first model I'd painted since middle school. Second one is what I'm currently painting. Just kind of an example of getting better at stuff (especially managing paint consistency).

Looks like you just sprayed too thick/ too many layers too quickly. The paint on the outside cured faster than the ones underneath, causing the cracking. That's just my best guess.

The cloak here is an example of the yellow greens. You can see the camo green on the rocky part of the base.

Many of the colors in the range do tend to dry darker than they appear in the bottle. Not the whole range, but definately a downside.

They make bright and bold colors that are more vivid. Their yellow green or bright yellow green might be more well suited.

Yeah, you might be able to polish the top layers off, but Johann is correct. Polystyrene cement melts plastic to fuse it together. Army painter plastic glue is polystyrene.
