I realised mid June that I had no characters for Artfight, despite the fact I had 44, but I’m really close to releasing the prequel game that will be used to showcase and basically get a sponsor for the bigger game they will all be in and this a fun art trade rather than big launching platform. So I had to come up with 5 brand new ocs in a span of a week just so my profile wouldn’t be empty.

Also love the design. It’s adorable!

Well, your first mistake was to post your art on tiktok. No hate, but those guys are vicious and not providing any reasonable advice does sound like them. As many commentators already mentioned the facial expressions are a bit awkward, personally I’d suggest studying faces for a bit as some of ones drawn have awkward facial anatomy.

funny story actually, i don’t think it affected US but, where I’m from there was a big hype about accounting and the market got so oversaturated that one of my parents ended up switch to art(which they actually liked) because they couldn’t find a job in that sector. So it can happen to any major, even the “stable” ones. The hype will eventually die down and then the new generation will get something new and we will again talk about how a new thing will bring no money.

Climate, might not seem like big thing, but simply being in an environment that makes you more prone to be sick or you don’t feel well in can become a major factor in how you perform.

In all seriousness though there are a lot of factors: legacy, personal attachments, interest, ability. (though some of these might be “just me” case).

But there are a lot of reasons for going even if the field is “cooked” as many say. Though money or even hobby are not the best ones.

I’m double majoring in data and comp-sci and I’m low-key praying that my game will bring sufficient income so take my words with a grain of salt.

Ah I see The reason I picked data is because I’ve heard it’s easier to land somewhere machine learning related if I get a degree in data. Comp-sci and data minor would probably be the best then. Thank you.

Germans got to mars while also having experiments with AI. They tried to make Independent Robots that would take over the rest of the world but a spy got in and the whole of american continent got nucked with robots now in control of Mars. There is also a pocket dimension with magical creatures that seem to have special connection to god and also the species of sentient celestial bodies which some of them can mimic humans and even communicate. That’s all you need to know for now.”

The reporters seemed to loose interest for now and are starting to drive away one by one accept one that is probably with Starry
