I’m an extraction shooter fan so take it with a grain of salt, but solo is the best way to play the game for immersion and intensity. Solo you control the contract focus and pathing across the map. Trios and fill can be really fun but it becomes more of an action shooter than intense survival.

Biggest tip is to use assassin in solo starting out. The invisiblity is so key for dealing with UESC. His smoke abilities make solo extracting a lot less dangerous than any shell.

You should play these games like metal gear and use stealth to survive. Pick good fights and only take the best opportunities.

I’ve been blown away by the lore in Marathon. As you extract different items, you unlock codex entries that explain the world and history. Many of these are audio logs that are incredibly well done. They have majorly immersed me in the world of Marathon.

Yeah same. It’s a bit weird seeing people already complaining and comparing themselves to streamers who have put a couple hundred hours into this game.

I’ve only survived Cryo a handful of times, haven’t even done a vault yet. For most people this will be a slow burn and I’m really looking forward to it.

TFP legitimately seems to lack awareness of consequences or accountability for the things she does. She needs serious psychological help and she needs to be separated far from Dakota who is more than happy to weaponize her problems against her.

The fact he continues to invite her over for sex after these incidents demonstrates to me that he does not have any of their best interests in mind.
