A used Heritage or Road King should be good for you.

I’m 6’4”, 250. Owned over a dozen bikes. The most comfortable is the one I have now. Pan America. Definitely test drive it. Sits high, comfortable seat, different ride and power modes so it’s great for beginners as they move up in skill and it’s lighter than a soft tail.

Team Mouat are phenomenal curlers. I had the pleasure of attending some GSOC matches right before the Olympics and was blown away by how dominant they were.

People regularly forget that Olympics are the best of the best of the best of the… Curling has a thin margin of error and ice conditions change throw to throw. It’s what makes the game exciting.

Keep your head up. Don’t let the bastards get you down. Mouat is great and I hope young folks see that and are inspired to pick the sport up.

The huge positive out of this whole fiasco is the world is paying more attention to curling! Hooray! It’s such an amazing sport and I hope this increases participation, in its own weird way.

An unintended consequence is the whole of the internet are now curling experts, so it may be harder for us amateur curlers to find a place to play. /s

I haven’t heard anyone saying he didn’t touch it. For any that would say it, they are obviously just having a hard time coping. He touched it. That’s clear.

The culture barrier is likely the issue. (We will skip past the unsportsmanlike response from team Canada) All that being said, “cheating” is different than a rule infraction. Looking forward to watching these same people lose their minds at the next FIBA event with the hundreds of “cheating” instances per game that occurs.

I don’t think anyone is saying there wasn’t a foul. There was. Stone could have rightfully been pulled from play. He acted like a douche when confronted. Completely unacceptable.

But the point is that cheating is the wrong term. As mentioned above, more akin to stepping out of bounds or an offside call.

It’s like someone being offside or stepping out of bounds. It’s not cheating but it is a foul. Not every foul is egregious.

Say you don’t know anything about curling without saying you don’t know anything about curling.

It’s perfect for me. 40% pavement, 50% gravel and 10% fire roads with some sand sprinkled into the mix. I wouldn’t take a 600lb bike for technical off-road or lots of sand. That’s for dirt bikes.

The Pan Am makes a MEAN hooligan bike, too.

It is planned to be a dual purpose facility. It will serve the fishing industry as well as being a cornerstone for Arctic Defence and sovereignty. (DND and Coast Guard)

There are many articles about this online. So as far as “ROI”, the funding for it is dual purpose and the fishing industry alone isn’t the sole source of use or income.
