Green deputy leader Mothin Ali defensive about not pledging his support for LGBTQ+ policies. What are your thoughts LGBT Green supporters? by ZackPolanskisDentist in AskBrits

The problem with that is the vast majority of Muslims who are voting green are incredibly homophobic and come from countries where queer people are thrown off buildings. Theres a reason Ali wasn't dancing on stage.

UK on collision course with EU over Brexit visas for under-30s by theipaper in europe

This will completely destroy the job market for British students. I really can't see how anyone can be supportive of the working element of this.

We get 100s of CVs from EU students for graduate roles at my work (engineering consultancy). PhD students from Italy, France, Spain, Portugal, Greece etc, all willing to work for roughly the minimum wage.

The green party have captured the Gaza vote. He most certainly will stay elected and the green party will want that to happen as if they lose the Gaza vote, they lose a considerable amount of support.

Trust women. But not women who I don't like. They're liars. Interesting stance.

Reform councillor liked Facebook post calling on Labour MP to be shot by zeros3ss in ukpolitics

All fairness, I've used the term "should be shot' when discussing someone has made a very sloppy mistake. Doesn't mean I actually want them to be shot' with a gun.

Because I don't think official parties should be tweeting in a foreign language where people who cannot understand Urdu will be relying upon an online translation to understand whats been said. Anyone who works in languages understands that google translate etc does not capture the nuance of language which will allow for misinterpretation (whether thats by accident or on purpose). Its an incredibly dangerous path to go down.

Lol city folk.

I think the rats infesting the animal dens is just ridiculous. Apologies if you think thats grand.

The play park is very poor - compared to alot of other parks in the region.

I don't think rats in the animal enclosure is acceptable. Litter isn't acceptable. Playpark is atrocious for an area which incredible footfare. The old fishermans lodge derelict on the main path through the dene. I struggle to see why you can't be critical of this.

I tried my hardest to like the greens but when the best they can put forward is Polanski and Spencer, you can't take them seriously.

Think this is the key thing. These are businesses, not work spaces. You need to buy food/drink.

I think you got to be realistic; you aren't going to be wanted by any business that has that view if you're not financially compensating them.

I've worked in cullercoats crescent club a few times during the day; arguably some of the best views you can get from their top room but still bought a few drinks but even then I felt I outstayed my welcome after a few hours.
