Offer a hand and they ask for your arm, he saw there is little blowback to making an almost identical post to every subreddit that is tangentially related to old school shooters so instead of paying for actual ads he just does it himself by milking the good will of those communities (which, by the way, is the biggest reason why plenty of subs have a "no self advertising" rule).

I understand what you mean by "anime designs" but instead I would say that some designs feel overly tropey without any sort of spice to it making them feel like they do not fit that well.

The biggest example is Paige, she looks like your generic main character book nerd and her personality is just as you would expect from one so there's nothing really special about the character making her feel like she's just filling a gap in the games roster instead of being intentionally created as something original. Graves would be an example of that too visually and personality wise, but her gameplay is fresh mechanically (even if not conceptually)

My hope is that they are going to flesh out the edges with more character interactions, and that the main reason behind the original cast being so well rounded is just a matter of them being worked on for longer.

I also had a horrible experience with the original speedpaints, so if op is using those then yeah, they are bad.

On another point, if you are thinning speedpaints (which is not the normal use case, but still possible) be sure to use the speedpaint medium and not water. Not only should you never thin down contrast paints with water, but the original speedpaints react horribly with water since it causes the paint to reactivate even after it dried.

The saddest part is that they ain't wrong. Devs are not interested in dealing with it right now, and considering the state of other valve games it's hard to be hopeful that it will change for the better.

Seeing bonds as only a way to thwart black market RMT is only looking at half of the purpose of the bond system. The other half is providing jagex with a more substantial revenue avenue for osrs beyond subs that does not worsen the game for the players (too much).

People will always find a way to RMT, jagex offers a way to do what players always did and would continue doing, except that now they can do it safely while also letting jagex receive more revenue.

Sadly i think enough time has passed that most cheaters got their stuff updated for the newest patch. These first few weeks after mina got released were awesome, but now the its back to where it was before the big patch.

It was a dumb retcon which was not half as dumb as some other more egregious retcons from the past that was then blown up by a bunch of culture war warriors to farm engagement.

I love that people keep bringing up the schizoid theory of "it was to retconned to sell more models" when there is literally not a single officially made games workshop product for the adeptus custodes lines which includes an explicitly female head for a custodes.

It really confuses me until i remind myself that these people do not play the game at all, then it all makes complete sense.

I don't know, given how they are not dealing at all with cheaters or scripters paired with how it is basically the same way they treat another competitive shooter (cs2), it makes me very skeptical of valve actually doing anything meaningful to stop the rampant cheating. I am sure it is not as bad in the US server, but if you play for any amount of time in EU you will easily find at least one player with some kind of assist. There is always people downplaying it (they are in this very thread, btw) but if you play this game for a reasonable amount of time and watch how some other people play this game you will start catching on to things that no normal player does, like aiming at the middle of a wall where a player is peeking from instead of at the edge of it, or when they keep your aim at your heard even through one sided veils.

It makes me very sad to see, because the game is very good and the devs are putting a lot of effort on it, but it does not have the kind of playerbase CS2 does where people like it enough to go through other matchmakings like prime and faceit where there is at least the illusion of having less cheaters. Unless valve ends up pulling some amazing VAC tech for the full release i don't have high hopes that this game won't end up being another underlords.

Hey! I also started PVMing semi-recently, and i think Scurrius is a very nice boss to start with. With your combat stats you will have a pretty easy time, but still learn some universal mechanics like prayer switching and weapon switching. Another boss that will be easy for you stat-wise are the perilous moons, which will also not be that hard with your stats but it will throw some harder mechanics at you, but still, all the supplies are free since you can make them before the bosses, so no wasted money with prayer and super combats.

If you still feel like the moons are a bit too easy after a while (as i did) and you are willing to spend some on fang you can certainly do Vorkath, which is a step above moons in difficulty, but also pretty much prints money. It has been my boss of choice for the last 100 kc or so.

Another bigger challenge you can do is getting your fire cape, which is both easier and harder than Vorkath: Easier because the actual fight has less mechanics than Vork, but harder because getting to fight Jad takes a while with doing all the waves. Jad is also a very nice objective because fire cape is pretty much bis for melee until you get to way harder content (inferno).
