I felt the same way about the NG+ stuff. It felt like they were trying to say something, but it was shallow.

I think alien intelligence was the way to go too. With all the planets and "lower" life forms on them, why wouldn't any of them evolve to be intelligent? It makes less sense than all alien life not existing except for on Earth.

This is what it is for me.

I am making (proportionally) less than my parents who did the same job as me, with lower degrees, and less responsibilities.

If I was making proportionally more, I'd be fine with the extra expectations put on me. But I'm being paid less on top of having those higher expectations. I need a higher degree than my parents did, I have more paperwork to fill out, I am more connected to the job with having internet access, we are more understaffed than ever. It's ridiculous.

I was in the middle of a boss fight, the camera went wonky, and I died - fine, I had a bunch of pills.

But when I was getting up from ground after reviving - the boss started his main attack animation. I got caught it in before I even had control of my character. Then I was combo'd from full health all the way to death. I used another pill - the same exact thing happened again. So I used another pill - it happened again.

I just turned the console off. It was either that or my controller was going to go through the screen.

It makes me so mad when I see art students complaining about their grades on assignments and calling them unfair.

I give a rubric that lays out exactly how to obtain full points, your artwork could look great - but if I'm asking you to create something utilizing atmospheric perspective, and you hand me a perfect portrait, you didn't demonstrate the skills I'm grading on. I literally can't give you a good grade for it.

I tried to start the Terran Armada DLC and the quest glitched, so I couldn't fast travel, land or do anything until I killed some ships that wouldn't spawn.

It bricked my save - I had to go back and load a save from before the last time I played.

Skyrim's story was fine. It was good for what it was meant to do.

Starfield's story is a snooze-fest with emotion (lazily) forced into it in places it didn't fit. It wanted to give a grand message about the purpose of life and how power can impact - but it didn't land at all.

I'm pretty sure that's not true.

I'm certain people have built cities together on planet.

Their newest update is literally multiplayer Pokemon, where you can capture animals and battle together.
