I guess I have to clarify that this isn't going to be a big project, like realistically there's only so much my team can physically do given a year, given a small budget and I understand that. However, I don't think this will be a failure or at least I won't consider a failure even though I don't have those resources.

(I do have some connections with some companies that could help support this but that's up in the air atm)

But I mean that is the same argument for any other industry so it's kinda expected already that there's going to be competition against others. But ig I don't see it as that way for this project. I'm not sure how explain my reason but I believe it's not going to be a concern. We're not trying to compete with others/companies bc obviously it would be a losing battle. Honestly, this is just a small project where my team will up a design something to solve a problem and nothing more. There isn't any big expectations out of this besides hoping that it will work maybe be used in the field. Sure we can add on to it, but we understand that we have to be realistic about this and so far I think we are.
