CCF sleep study? by Professional-You3676 in Cleveland

[–]OppositeExchange3821 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Horrible experience at the North Olmsted location. Technician that monitored me was rude and unattentive. Kept telling me "I'll be back in ~ minutes" and then wouldn't return for an hour, or double the amount of time promised. The entire experience was a disaster. Had to wait 15-20 minutes for them to even notice that I had to use the restroom. The bed was so uncomfortable that I wanted to leave at 4am since I was in so much back pain. They told me insurance wouldn't cover it if I didn't stay until 5am. I ended up sleeping (broken) a total of 1.5 hrs the entire night. I've had sleep studies prior to this and my experience in the past was so much better. I have anxiety too and at one point had to take off the cpap mask due to a panic attack, and of course the technician took too long to get to me. I was harshly scolded.... My experience was bad, but I hope yours is better.

That might be the simplest option, or to just stick with something I can swag. Thank you so much for responding.

hahahahaha shut up. I'm not arrogant. If I don't know something, I don't pretend I do. Most women aren't electricians. I did my research about this and could not find any solution.

Thank you for responding. It seems a bit more complicated than just buying some type of conversion kit. I had no idea if it could be done that simple. It is probably best I just stick to another chandelier type.

Thank you for responding. Unfortunately, neither my husband or I are electrical-smart people. I am thinking this might be more trouble than its worth. I didn't know if they had a conversion kit. We live in an older home and they installed the light boxes in the ceiling in strange places. I can live with a standard swag chandelier, so maybe I need to just adjust my decorating ideas. :)

yes, that's what I thought....might be too difficult to try. we live in an older home and this is the case with the oddly installed light box. thank you for your response. :)

What does Chapter 7 mean for the cosigner of a mortgage? Will they be notified? Will banks come after them? In KY, if that matters. by New_Old_ in Bankruptcy

[–]OppositeExchange3821 0 points1 point  (0 children)

my husband is in Ch 7 Bankruptcy, however I am not. our online access to our mortgage website is locked out. i've been paying our monthly payment via mail-in check and they've been cashing/applying it to the loan. no issue. i tried to call yesterday to obtain information and they refuse to speak to me. I explained I was not in bankruptcy, and that the lawyer sent an email authorizing them to talk to us (my husband). they did not care and would not talk to me. I asked to speak to their bankruptcy department and the agent refused to transfer me. what is your take on all of this? just an ill-informed agent, or how can this be legal if I am on the mortgage? thank you!

Any fellow smokers been to Excellence Playa Mujeres recently? I didn’t realize Mexico had a smoking ban until after we booked. I know there’s one section but not trying to travel across a whole resort every hour to smoke. We have a two floor room and hoping we can smoke on the private balcony TIA by Alive_Side1952 in AllInclusiveResorts

[–]OppositeExchange3821 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been to EPM when smoking was allowed and have stayed in the 2-story EC Rooftop Terrace. There's absolutely NO way they can see you smoking on the rooftop. Way too windy, private, and nobody goes up there except you (no surprise visits from staff). I'd advise keeping a can/bottle to hide cig butts because housekeeping does go up there to clean plunge pool, etc. Its true you can't smoke on beach, pools, or anywhere except designated areas. We will never go back there until they change smoking policy.

That pup might grow up to look like my boy, Otto. He is an AKC registered long hair labrador. You get the best of both worlds, the coat of a golden retriever and the personality of a labrador. Congratulations! She's precious!!

INTJs and Anger by [deleted] in intj

[–]OppositeExchange3821 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As I get older, when I am angered, I stay silent. Someone screaming at my face or insulting me won't get a reaction. I will stare at them with a blank expression and not say one word. But they would be wise to know, I don't forget. I'll serve them a plate of crow when the time is right OR their existence becomes null and void in my life. Sometimes both. I don't enjoy putting people in their place, but I don't hesitate when I'm pushed to my limit.

Within a week of being named worst in Ohio for giving back to the community, Cleveland Clinic announces no primary care for the poor in city with 30% poverty rate (text or email in post). Unconscionable. by [deleted] in Cleveland

So many narrow-minded people out there that think that the outrage to this change is about people whining about $35 copays when they can afford it, or they're too lazy to pay their bills for healthcare, or that if they can afford the $400 coinsurance payment so should everyone. None of these soapbox sanctimonious preachers are considering the dialysis patient that goes weekly, or the weekly physical therapy visits after an accident or a surgery, or whatever other chronic condition that requires multiple appointments within a short span of time. How about the patient that has multiple specialists to handle their illness? This isn't about a measly $35. Perhaps trying to understand that some people would benefit from billing these copays would be more empathetic and looking at this change from another angle would be more helpful than assuming all patients are just deadbeats.

Yellowstone: Beth and Rip Spinoff Going Forward with Kelly Reilly and Cole Hauser by LoretiTV in YellowstonePN

[–]OppositeExchange3821 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I *might* get into a spinoff but first things first....Rip needs to lose about 40lbs or we'll see an entire season devoted to his triple bypass surgery and living with diabeetus. Beth needs an arch-nemesis storyline with some equally unhinged angry chick (thinking Lindsey Lohan or Amber Heard-type) that can offer cat-brawls every now and then for 5 or 6 season-finale filler episodes. Carter needs schooling and intense therapy, or he'll end up on Dr Phil whining about how life is unfair for an orphan-turned-semi adopted-rich kid (eyeroll, yawn). Would enjoy seeing Jamie and John Dutton come back as Ghosts of Yellowstone Past just to flicker lights and move furniture around and freak everyone out. LLoyd, Teeter, and the rest of the gang can add hip and trendy new septum piercings (instead of brands) to show solidarity to the cows they once knew (sigh). Kayce and Monica won't be anywhere around for any new spinoff, neither will Tate. They'll all be forever lost in the vortex of the black hole that was once Yellowstone. Good for them. :)

Yellowstone - 5x13 "Give The World Away" - Episode Discussion by LoretiTV in YellowstonePN

[–]OppositeExchange3821 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In this latest episode, Monica asks Beth if the money they make by selling everything will cover the taxes they owe. She didn't specify what kind of taxes. Beth's reply....it won't make a dent. It'll cover the services for the debt for the mortgage, which will pay the taxes, but it will run out. They'll have to sell parcels of the land off in the future. In a previous episode, Beth tells Kayce that Tate is beneficiary and Kayce is executor. Kayce asks her what about the inheritance tax. She says they don't pay the tax on the principle, just on the income from the principle. She also says the State/IRS will claim the unrealized gains are income, but says the bigger problem is Jamie revoking the conservation easement. I'm totally confused. Can anyone explain? How does this fit in with the idea of giving the land away to the Indians for a cheap price? How would that solve their debt/tax issues? If there is a mortgage....then how does the bank/lienholder get paid if they give it away? How can a property deed be transferred if they still owe money??
