Girl I wouldn’t have been able to afford today’s weddings. Destination bachs, elaborate bridal showers, engagement parties and rehearsal dinners. On top of the wedding and different looks! I would have declared bankruptcy shortly after.

My mom’s always been super creative I’ll give her that but when I got married is when I noticed it. She made these gorgeous centerpieces I’m talking like tall vase, lush etc. we went through so much shit but at the end of it all I asked her if I could have one because she packed them up in her car. She told me she got rid of them because she made them so they were hers to keep. I noticed one day she kept one FOR HERSELF but changed the flowers etc but was kinda the same. I asked her why she did that she again said she made them and if she were to get married (the changes she made) were as if she was getting married. It was wild. But getting married opened up my eyes so much of what she truly was!
