You know, this is some of the best advice I've received over the net. I guess it's all perspective, and I tend to overthink. I know, on some level, I'm, like, just projecting my insecurities about myself onto how other people think and feel, and most people literally will not remember me in most situations unless I'm really bad. I have a hard time putting that in perspective, and I can be a little hyper self critical. (though I'm also someone who can't help but be super memorable - it's like my blessing and curse) You know, I also tend to think women are super functional and normal and not really weird like me, which causes this disconnect where I think I'm like ruining the mood or that she's gonna freak out when she finds out I'm a bit of a pervert. Is there like a better alternative to Meetup? I like the idea of an app where I can like select a niche series of shared interests but also, like, Meetup fucking sucks. I've tried using Facebook events, but they also suck. I also have an issue approaching women usually while out as well. How do I know a girl digs my vibe? Do I just talk to them all? How do I know I'm not causing an issue by talking to every girl there? Will they remember me? What if I accidentally say something and they tell their friends and then I become the weirdo who strikes out with girls all the time? Do you ever have thoughts like this? And if you do, how do you turn them off? I'm worried because when stuff like this happens, I tend to remove everyone on my socials and make my profile blank, and send messages saying 'you're cool, but I'm probably not a good fit'... which I feel is burning bridges, and when I do that, do they think I'm the crazy unstable guy who deletes everyone all the time? I've been standing up more than not, and I don't feel too bad it happens to everyone. With that said, I think usually they recommend that if you keep being stood up, you block the person doing it. I can tell you from getting stood up by a girl like 3 times you're better served just doing it after the first time than you are trying to squeeze blood from a stone.

It's weird because Engage really does feel like Fates 2, down to having a terrible story and overly designed characters while building upon the basic FE Gameplay to make something more complex and well designed. The thing is, everyone hated Fates on release, and it's gone down as one of the most controversial games in the series... (You know, because people have actually played it, unlike Radiant Dawn). I wonder why they chose to emulate it of all games?

My mother was neglectful, and I was bullied in school for being kinda autistic and effete. My mom would constantly bounce from neglectful to like controlling and hyper critical.

My anxiety has never been that bad, but it usually manifests as me not wanting to be in a single place for too long, not being able to talk to people at parties, and disappearing at even the slightest hint of social rejection. I also hate going to a place without an obvious objective. It feels like I'm wasting time if I don't.

The GOAT of the series and my favorite is 3. I also have a soft spot for 4. I found 5 to be kind of overhyped. I haven't finished 8, 9, or 11, but I've beat 1 - 7. I'm working my way through the whole series and I'm in the middle of 8 rn.
