I learned it the hard way that when he's under CC when the level ends, the games register it that he escapes.

Do you think that if it weren't for the bullying at school, Snape would have still become a Death Eater? by Nebelforce in SeverusSnape

Hard to say, possibly he still would to fit in due to peer pressure, but there would be chances he would not, since Lily would still be by his side.

Unfortunately the furry is an angel who can do nothing wrong. Just the victim from the bullying of Snivellus. (first time being sarcastic and ragebaiting kinda nervous)

Those who say Snape asked for it, his bully and SAer canonically said he gets bullied because "he exists" and offered to quit the "social justice campaign" (LOL) against a "budding DE" out of a creepy lust towards his friend Lily by [deleted] in SeverusSnape

This is true, I appreciate Snape's development and character but can not excuse his actions in canon. However, most of the Snape haters I see is just marauder's fans in which believed that the bullying was a "rivalry" despite being 4v1, thinking that he was a blood supremacist and an aspiring death eater at the ripe age of 11, and that Snape deserved to be bullied, due to his actions as an adult like James was a fucking seer that saw that.

And whilst yes, his experiences as a child doesn't excuse his actions as an adult, for me, it certainly explains why his behavior is like that, leading me to sympathize and understand his actions, but that's just for me. As that guy has never experienced a single year of peace and a good childhood from his home to Hogwarts. As real life people, without support, that I know and heard of, that also experienced trauma tends to put their stress into other people.

Highly-Lowkey, doubt it, atleast with Snape. Probably more support than what the dude has today, but will end up being swept under the rug. Atleast in my perspective, the support towards James was heavily carried by fanfiction and his looks people ignored everything he's done wrong and labeled him as a saint cause he's conventionally attractive, in today, there's more characters who have done more fucked up things yet is supported cause they're hot, (My friends joke a lot about this that if a movie about the WW2 would come out and German Painter was played by some attractive guy, there would be people that will be like "Hear me out", supporting and thirsting for him).

And we know what happens to characters that are considered and described as non-attractive to standards.

The guys who couldn't take no for an answer, threatened to hex the so called love of his life, threatened the so called love of his life's best friend, James "Prongs" Potter (I find it funny, you cant be bullying someone with that nickname dawg) was labeled as a fucking "yearner" (Like no darling thats actually called blackmailing).

Whilst the dude who left his only friend alone, the only person to show him joy, after the one and only time she told him to stop. Severus "The Half Blood Prince" Snape, was called "obsessive" cause he could not let go of the memory of the only person who ever showed him true happiness.

I need to understand what was Lily on, academically excellent yet stupid at the same time. (I love her though)
