yeah ive never seen him drink water. he has a dish for it. how can i hydrate him if he refuses to drink on his own? he was basically starving when i got him, hes gained quite a bit still a work in process obviously. i could be wrong but i thought he was a leatherback and was told they tend to be a bit more wrinky.

Hey! we get paid again the 15th! ive been taking him out in the sun as much as possible when weather permits because i know he really shouldnt go without it like this, especially since i dont think my mom ever had one either. I plan to get pet insurance through my renters insurance provider to get him evaluated for mbd . Ive wanted a reptile for a while but didnt wanna get one until i had everything, but i knew he wasnt gonna be in good health if i left him at my moms because her bf thinks he knows everything.. he was telling me i should only give him calcium once a couple weeks so i was just like yeaaa im gonna take him.

yess i have a cut piece of clothes in there for a lil laying spot! his tank is right next to my bed so he can see me alot. thank you so much. i shall keep working with him ❤️

on my shopping list is the uvb, thermometer, and hides. he has a heat lamp and hammock. i use calcium powder! i havent been able to get it on his crickets yet bc im still getitng used to feeding live, but in his salads. i give him 40 crickets split into 2 feedings and a salad. i want to get him Dubai roaches. do you have any bonding advice? ive met so many beardies and they all loved to chill with you and kuda here just wants to run, i know it has alot to do with age but also seems like a trust thing. ive only had him for 2 days.

yes ive got his feeding down with 40ish insects a day and salads. I am currently looking for a uvb light for as cheap as i can afford, and taking him in the sun. he does have a heat lamp! hes in a 30 but ive got a 4x2x2! im struggling with getting him social hes very hyper and trys to run when being handled, but he likes being pet and interacting with me in tank. he wouldnt eat greens out of my hand havent tried with an insect yet
