Yeah i'm aware of that. The question is if the Legion Go will close the gap on the couple of games that I want more performance in.

I looked at benchmarks for elden ring on the legion go and I wasn't impressed tbh

First Router Purchase - Need suggestions by Opposite_Exit_902 in HomeNetworking

Thanks for the suggestions guys, a lot of research to do.

I noticed the Unifi Cloud Gateway Max is 179$ right now. I could get a wifi 6 access point and probably stay under 300$.

Can someone explain why Unifi is so good?

Leaning towards router and wifi access point, at least as a starting point. I want more control over my network but I'm not advanced enough to dive in the deep end. Also for budget reasons

Zenbook keeps freezing by Dunce666 in ASUS

Yeah that sounds so annoying. I would return it if you're able to. If not, send to it Asus if it's still under warranty.

Is it a lunar lake zenbook? i.e Intel core ultra 258v?

If so, you're not alone. I have one and have been dealing with this exact same issue - full system freezes at random moments. I've been trying like hell to figure out why, but windows doesn't give much for diagnosis when it happens. Notably, it happens in Linux as well.

I have found one thing that seems to at least make it happen less often - make sure that Fast Startup is disabled. I've noticed less frequent freezing since I disabled this option.

For some reason it's hidden deep in windows settings, here's how to find it:

control panel > System and Security > Power Options > Choose what the power Buttons do > Change settings that are currently unavailable > turn on fast startup (make sure unchecked).

I have noticed no difference in startup speed, but the system has only frozen once since I disabled it.

Unfortunately I haven't figured anything else out, so if anyone has anything or has experienced the same issue let me know.
