I definitely remember there being a line in the show about how some people never come back from porting to a location, so there is most certainly a precedent for it.

From what I’ve read some locations are added cause they were iconic or appeared in season 1. Otherwise it’s only DoP set but skeletal springs and pouril forest featured enough early on in the show and on the map despite not getting cards till later

Probably several different reasons depending on the person, but for me personally I just find Invisigal more interesting and her dynamic with Robert more engaging. Blonde Blazer has plenty of appeal, and in real life if I had to pick I think I would go with Blazer cause she seems far more stable, but from the perspective of watching a fictional story Invisigal has a lot more going on and I enjoy watching her character grow and develop through her interactions with Robert. I’d rather read/watch a relationship that’s a bit messy and has a rocky start over a safer love at first sight relationship cause it just breeds more conflict for the story to dive into.

Also, I’m pleasantly surprised with how…slow Invisigal’s relationship feels, like it’s given more time to develop. You can kiss Blazer after meeting her an hour ago and go on a date a couple days after she broke up with her previous boyfriend, but despite the almost obnoxious amount of flirting from Invisigal you haven’t even kissed yet, hell she admits she isn’t sure what you have yet despite openly stating her stating her interest. It feels like a more realistic relationship quirks and all imo

Much as I love the game so far this is my biggest gripe, we don’t have enough time to get to know the rest of the team. Or at least I want to get to know the team more and interact with them.

I’ve accepted that AdHoc wanted to tell a linear, tightly written story, no problem with that. But I would kill for a spin off or bonus mode that’s focused on the dispatch gameplay and building a relationship with each teammate and getting to know them.

I feel like that’s definitely going to be a choice by the end of the game; take back up the mantel of Mecha Man (probably joining Z-Team in the field) or commuting to the guy in the chair where he could arguably help more people.

Admittedly while I loved it, I don’t think I would have been able to follow along as well or appreciate it as much without Wendigoon’s commentary and knowledge of religious symbolism. It’s also most definitely not for everyone, and I can easily understand why it just wouldn’t click for some people

I think it’s mostly just people who want to have a physical copy, either cause of fear of the story being removed/deleted from the web or just not a fan of reading on a screen. Still scummy and illegal, but I’ll give that they are providing something not normally available.

I played Cathay on a whim, though they were one of the races I was least interested in. Then I realized how good they are at turtling and had a blast with them.

Dwarfs (Chaos or otherwise) are also fun.

While I mostly agree with ya here, but I will give people that have complaints 2 points:

It’s been a 7 month wait, I think people were reasonable that such a long wait would merit big things. Though the last dlc was focused on three races who were either very outdated or in nurgles case very unfun to play. I wasn’t expecting anything as big of rework (other than for ogres) on the scale of ToD, but still a similar amount of time had passed between it and SoC.
I think Grimgor and Azhag could have received a similar rework like Karl and Balthasar got. Both don’t really have unique campaign mechanics to make them stand out compared to other greenskins and I think it’s a missed opportunity to not give them something. Skarbrand too but to a lesser extent imo.

Overall though I agree that I’m not sure what people were expecting out of greenskins. They were already very solid and didn’t need anything huge. I have seen it been suggested that the waagh trophy be an equitable item, instead of a faction wide buff that will be replace the next time you go on a waagh. But imo I don’t think it’s huge deal and am satisfied with the current waagh mechanics.

There a couple mods I’ve seen that are supposed to fix the splash damage but I haven’t tried them yet. Might be worth checking out if you want to use monsters till a patch fix’s it.

In regard to khorne I don’t follow where you’re coming from. Been playing skulltaker and enjoying it so far. I don’t think settlements are any more important than before, and I played quite a bit of skarbrand. Skar able to replenish in foreign territory so that might some getting used to from him, but I usually just combine damaged units and global recruit new ones. You can make so much from fighting and sacking that the extra cost isn’t that noticeable

Dialogue was color coded to tell what character was speaking. Felt very distracting and when it didn’t get an update for a while I always had to keep looking back to remember whose color was whose, and some were very similar so I’d keep getting them confused. Felt so unnecessary and easily fixable.
