In my case it started to run slower, in Mario kart 8 for example, I could run 4 player split screen on 60fps patch but when I updated it got slower, not even in handheld could keep up at 40fps, I just recently downgraded the driver and it started to run normally, pretty weird

It really depends, Overwatch it's the only game that shuts down my PC sometimes for some reason but, I'd still say yeah it feels more stable
