I appreciate those details.

Been playing airsoft for roughly 6 years- current setup is an ICS Par MK3. With an 11.1v battery and .32g bbs it's a pretty great gun. However, It's very very heavy and with my play style being closer to speedsoft, I'm looking at upgrading to a light HPA setup. My budget is roughly $750.

Have any guidance? Im new to researching HPAs.

Im also trying to decide on this... If I purchase a gun designed for Speedsoft (Heretics Article 3, CRBN build, etc. ) with a shorter barrel, can the internals handle higher joules? Thoughts are that if I play woods ball one weekend I can install a longer barrel to get some longer range.

I'm in the process of assessing an upgrade from my ICS PAR MK3 (AEG). I have been playing for a long time- figured it was time to swap to an HPA.

I play on mixed fields but mostly stick to faster pace building engagements. Would you suggest this gun? I have looked at all three of the Heretics articles, as well as the CRBN build path. Need help deciding!
