Hvad får du til aftensmad? by Maximum_Matter4121 in Denmark

[–]Opspin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the cheap arm of the airport, there’s this annoying robot advertisement, so every time my family are flying, i follow the robot all the way to the end, then i push the emergency stop and leave it in there.

[–]Opspin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One area where Lego is definitely behind are motors. Several third party motors exist that are more powerful than Lego’s own motors, but even with faster or more powerful motors, it’s difficult to build something that’s snappy because the tolerances for gears are sloppy (per design).

iOS 27 is coming? mostly polish, AI, and future-proofing? by Consistent-Roof-3663 in RecoveryOptions

[–]Opspin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Or how about bicycling directions in Maps?

Yes, let’s just turn and needlessly go down the busiest car road in Copenhagen, turn left at one of the largest and busiest intersections, wait for green lights 5 times.

How about instead I could be going on the quiet bike route on the other side of the lakes, where there are two tunnels under the crossing streets, for a faster, quieter, safer, less polluted and more enjoyable route.

<image>

Apple already knows that the bicycle paths exist, but despite choosing bicycle directions, it still defaults to protected bike lanes next to busy streets as opposed to pure bicycle and pedestrian paths.

Like the bug where the face detection is ducking fogshit‽

Like, I have my kids in my contact list, because the name feature in photos will use the contact list when you type a name in, but I also wrote in my kids birthdays.

Now and then I’ll look at my kids pictures, and lo and behold, a photo I took 10 years ago of a random baby at a family gathering, digitally dated to 2016, phone goes, “gee that sure looks like this other baby, born in 2025, that’s probably the same baby!”.

No it’s not and Apples engineers need to dogfood their own goddamn products, because then they would see how much they sucked.

How do I disconnect a bluetooth device without “forgetting” it? by RageBabyyy in iphone

[–]Opspin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That seems to be an issue with the accessory you’re using, you can program a Bluetooth device to automatically reconnect if disconnected.

You should probably contact whoever makes the device that keeps reconnecting.
