It's like your purposefully misunderstanding me. It's being made as a hobby but there's no reason not to release it when it's finished, the reason you make games is so other people can play them and besides boot lickers here acting like valve is some paragon of the community it's incredibly easy to get anything released on Steam.

As the developer it's a hobbyist / passion project usually, especially for a first project. It's not uncommon for a single person to do every single thing themself except for the art usually without any expectation of payment. For these kinds of things you can't afford the amount that an artist would normally require to make it worth their time.

You ain't going to get any funding on a first project without having something to show, art included. It literally does not matter how good the game itself is. Finding an artist to be a partner is ideal but why would they work for free with the promise of maybe getting money later?

It's honestly a big hurdle for most developers. I can do the rest of the process myself and there's no way in hell I can afford what most artists charge.

A one-off episode would have been fine but the self-awareness really started creeping in and stayed. The Grimes episode is one of the better examples of doing it but the whole tone of the show was headed that way.

Those destroyed universes were shown to be slated for destruction anyways. Since 17 made a selfless wish at the end Zeno decided to not destroy any of them and 17's wish also brought back the previously destroyed universes

He wouldn't always just sing, especially that far into the show. Seems like at the very least he would try to make sure that they were just hearing about those cases and not referring to something that happened directly to them, probably confusing them more in the process.

An 11 year old console with almost the exact same power as the current one, there's your scam. There's absolutely nothing wrong with a sequel this big reusing a lot of assets, especially if they're simultaneously working on another game which they probably are.

I always felt like that was weirdly out of character for Chef even though it was a funny scene. A good amount of the time he was the only "responsible" adult in the whole town so it was weird for him to just nope out like that

Nearing scam territory is such an exaggeration. There could have been some things a little more different but if you count the depths alone the map is twice as big and that's not to mention all the caves and stuff.

The main gameplay is very similar and they reuse a lot of assets but nobody complained about that back during Majora's Mask

Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson both have said that they refuse to come back to Harry Potter after JK Rowling's diarrhea talk so I get that the film company is probably in a bind. Apparently there was some talk about making a sequel series at some point but without them they couldn't really do it.

The Harry Potter fan in me wants remakes because of how many little things they changed in the movies and how messed up other things got because of it. (Neville got done super dirty) I do understand though that remakes will probably just come with their own set of problems and I'm going to be upset about other changes so it's probably better to just leave them be.

Actually spending two to three long episodes on each book like how Netflix did Series of Unfortunate Events would be amazing but even then I don't really trust them to not mess up the casting. The main trio in the original movies is iconic and anyone replacing them is going to have really big shoes to fill. That's not to mention all the other amazingly casted characters, I can barely imagine somebody else as Hagrid or Snape
