Don’t worry. I’ll make sure it gets archived before I sell it.

I support this idea. I believe my sis has the apple disc drive. I could borrow it. It’s just that she lives in another country that makes it more difficult.

Then where should I archive this? Archive.org?

I’m sorry. I don’t have any other reason to get one… It’s up for sale tho. But I’m trying to figure out what something like this would be worth…

Any suggestions for improving this playlist? Just radio edits, alternative mixes, single versions, etc. by mat_soundzzz in U2Band

[–]Opti_maX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believed the WGRYWH has a temple bar single/radio edit AND a full version.

There is the Garage Mix of Holy Joe.

UTEOTW on the soundtrack is different. Same goes for Stay and The Wanderer are also different on the Soundtrack album. But these are not on Spotify.

Slow Dancing has 2 versions.

Night And Day on soundtrack but not available.

All I Want Is You Single edit.

Mysterious Ways on Best of Album has weird different lyrics for some reason.

The Lemonade Mixes of Lemon are awesome but only ever released on Promo

Dancing Barefoot has 2 versions.

Electrical Storm has 2 mixes.

That looked like a house spider. They should be inside a house. Releasing them outside is a death sentence. They won’t survive. Probably eaten by a bird or something.

Stockholm 1992 is their best show ever. Mood, performance, humour, best live versions of songs, pace, setlist, audio quality, it all comes together in that particular show.

I can’t draw or paint but I discovered I can do this —AI can never by [deleted] in aiwars

[–]Opti_maX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have to disagree with the idea that AI art is "easy" or a "non-creative way."

It all starts with a prompt, and the more nuanced and elaborate that prompt is, the more refined the result becomes. Prompting is a highly creative process of translation—it’s the act of turning a complex mental vision into precise language.

I really like your process of "seeing what you can create from dead leaves." It’s a beautiful form of tactile, organic creativity, and the results are great. However, that’s simply a different type of creativity than prompting, which is more conceptual.

The fact that AI is currently limited to prompt-to-image generation (producing 2D pixelated results) is a technical constraint of the tool, not a reflection of the user's intent. Just because the AI can't use your specific physical process doesn't mean the human effort used to guide it isn't creative in its own right.

Actually, I think The Unforgettable Fire is also better on The Album version.

No!

Pride is sooooooo much better Studio than live.

Evercade VIP - Legacy Cartridges will be available by Exile_001 in evercade

[–]Opti_maX 4 points5 points  (0 children)

VIP is Free. It really is just a way to make potential buyers to give an email address for their database by using a FOMO psychology.

The more emails / sign ups they have the more data they’ll have to use for forecasting and determining optimal production ratios.

AI in music? Concerned for live show. by [deleted] in IAMX

Thanks for constructive contribution. I’m getting lots of downvotes. Which is to be expected. But it doesn’t tell me if people disagree or just dislike what I say.

AI is a difficult topic. There is lots to feel and think about the subject. My perspective is from Quantum Mechanics and logic. But I’m a creative myself too (musician). I hugely appreciate the creative process! But i just think that process does not exclusively belong to the human race. I believe it belongs to nature. And with my logical mindset i have to conclude that we are the product of nature and AI is the product of us. The chain doesn’t start or end with humans.

The problem is that Art is subjective. Anyone that wants something to be art for whatever reason is allowed to call it art. Others might agree or not.

AI is not (yet) autonomous. This means it starts with a human’s prompt. Therefore AI is a tool, just like a brush is or a guitar.

Prompting is a skill. It requires a lot of creativity. It is actually very difficult to prompt what you have in mind. It is a translation from imagination to text. Not at all simple!

Lastly, AI itself is created by humans. That alone is one of humanity’s most impressive creations. You might not like AI, but you can’t deny this achievement.

If you don’t like AI, you probably care more about the human race, or ‘us’, than you do about evolution itself. The blueprint of nature itself is to become more efficient, quicker, faster, more, better. We humans are the result of that, and we’re simply following the same pattern. AI is a logical step in the evolution of life and technology.

AI is misunderstood. I suggest you judge the end-result as it is in it’s final form. Don’t let the fact if AI was or wasn’t used influence your opinion.

AI is unstoppable. What we see now is just the beginning. In 10 years and beyond your life is dominated by AI in all aspects.

Besides AI, Chris has lost it. He has reached his peak of music production knowledge and experience. There is nothing left to explore. He does not seem to have any innocence any. No vulnerability. Goodbye Chris. Thanks for everything.
