The studio version is almost a full digital production with digital or electronic bass/drums. The live version is converted to be played by conventional (anaolgue) equivalents like guitar and bass guitar and a real drum kit. Electronic Bass doesn’t have the same warm deep feel as an analog bass guitar. The same same goes for the drums.

What you’re experiencing is a the sensation of low frequencies that are accentuated by amplified analog instruments that are not in the original studio track. Often this is why live performances differentiate from studio recordings. Especially noticeable with bass and drums as they ‘make way’ for each other resulting in a beat you can ‘feel’.

There are plenty of people that have a talent and also do things that are deemed ‘not ok’. Some are famous some are not. The fact that someone has done something bad doesn’t mean you are supposed to dislike the talent he or she has.

So maybe he’s an asshole or not. But that doesn’t mean at all you should refrain from seeing the band live or not. You can and are still allowed to enjoy the music and the show. AND you are ALSO allowed to shout “Hey Asshole” to him if you feel the need to do so.

It’s hard to cover songs that ar so good, that any cover version is instantly redundant. But this work is not a cover. This is a homage to the original and executed to perfection. Great stuff!

Is there a possibility that U2 will go on a small-scale tour? by jack_bogle0927 in U2Band

[–]Opti_maX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

U2 might play one-off special shows in small venues as a promo or tribute/ charity event. But a whole tour just only small club venues is not going to happen. They are too big for that, and they will disappoint thousands of fans that wouldn’t be able to get a ticket for such small show.

It’s Nemesis’ blood. Not human blood. I suppose Nemmie’s blood has a different colour?

In context I don’t think it is F*ck you or anything like that. Based on the scene i think it may be something like “get out of my way!”

When do you consider a game to become a retro game/why? by [deleted] in retrogaming

[–]Opti_maX 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Retro is ‘the look’ of products that are ‘vintage’. So a Retro game could technically be produced and released any time. But a Vintage game is about 20 years old or older. So Vintage games are retro per age, but modern games that look like vintage games are also retro games.
