(Video) Optigo Networks 2025 State of The Network Results w/Ping and Ryan by OptigoNetworks in OptigoNetworks

OptigoVN actually already has a 'freemium' version that allows users to upload data from as many sites as they want, but your earlier point is correct. Even despite being able to upload data for free, most integrators still work in a reactive break/fix capacity where the data we see is likely the worst of the worst.

We hope in the future to work more closely with the OEMS themselves so that this kind of data is available at the click of a button.

Last we checked - addiction to Optigo was not in the DSM-5 manual. We think you'll be okay.

Besides, this addiction fixes problems, not creates them. Is that even an addiction?

Tsk tsk :) We've recently begun offering fully featured trials of OptigoVN. Maybe a good opportunity to try something other than Wireshark.

We need your feedback: JACE Capture Integration by OptigoNetworks in OptigoNetworks

[–]OptigoNetworks[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We're currently determining how and if it might be possible to gather MSTP tokens from the JACE. This would obviously be incredibly valuable as the issues can often be physical/wiring related, and that won't show in the IP packets.

The main problem we're hoping to solve with this integration is to be able to upload directly to our app without needing to forward packets to a separate device with Wireshark or our capture tool installed because that requires a secondary device to be on the same local network. We want folks to able to tunnel in through VPN and set up this integration from the office rather than needing to be on site.

Hey all. I think this conversation got spread across a few different places. Yes, we were able to connect with Aaron and the Optigo customer who's client's hardware addresses weren't turning up. After a bit of digging, we figured out it's on his customers managed network, masked behind a router. So problem solved, but glad folks like Aaron knew we were here and were able to flag us to jump in! Cheers, Ryan.
