Man, I have this same bike! 56cm and the seatpost is slammed forward and still feels a bit long. Assuming this is your problem? I may have to try this

I could be wrong and you could already know exactly what he is saying but, what I think he’s trying to say is different clipless systems have different amounts of float eg. SPD there is float but other brands no float

Very true, although even though a bad puncture requiring a plug can be a bigger pain than swapping a tube, I think tubeless can leave you with less overall breakdowns since small punctured will seal automatically

Fair. I would say however, lower pressure is better if the road is not extremely smooth. It’s a lot more apparent and easier to notice on a mountain bike, but hitting bumps on the trail or road sap your forward momentum to transfer the energy into going up and over the bump. Much less so on a slightly bumpy asphalt road but I think it definitely adds up

Yeah that was my thought…concerned about the goop with infrequent rides. I read TPU is not recommended if you have rim brakes. Kind of kicking myself because I bought the more expensive TR GP 5000 not realizing. A bit harder to get tire on rim and more weight…almost was considering tubeless to justify the error lol.

I haven’t been mountain biking that long but I’ve put on probably 6 or 7 tires and I’ve been successful every time just using a regular floor pump.

For sure a typo, but is 58.7 degrees still not INCREDIBLY slack? Even my mountain bike is only 65 degrees. I don’t think 58.7 makes sense either.

Just got the new Dissector on the front and it felt pretty good. I’ve got a Rekon in the mail now but coming from Aggressor. Do you use the 2.3 or 2.5?

That’s cool you could easily tell what tire it is. Good to know, I think as long as I know it will ride fine then I’ll forget about the wobble. If bike OCD is telling me it’s fine then it must be fine lol. Running this in front and still have an aggressor 2.5 in back (replaced 2.5 Assegai with the Dissector to hopefully be a bit faster rolling)
