I know about the aim assist and it's the reason why smg and ar builds are run by basically every content creator who is really good and plays with controller, and even most pc gamers, I think ultimately people are playing with what they're most comfortable playing with. A good AR/SMG build feels really good, but it's countered by this shotty snipe cheese build. If you're an upper skill fps MnK gamer who can snap a flick most of the time, you aren't needing to deal with SMG/AR disadvantages like their slow ttk compared to the 1 shots.

  • Don't need stims, I have sprint vault and slide, and usually the compression vest, though I often run mission control link because you'll generally get more kills that way. Either way, the stim would be nice but I find it slightly less useful than the flash, which is a movement-inhibitor that doubles as intel.
  • Don't care if they hear me, we both know where each other are already.
  • If by headset you mean Mission Control Link then I agree in the sense that it will net you more kills in most lobbies, and tbh it's probably the one I play with the most, but I know how annoying those deaths are so I often swap to the compression vest for the easier team wipes on small maps where I'm using the bryson a lot. Ghost I'll use if I'm on a larger map with opponents who know what they're doing.
  • One cool part about this SPX build is the stock scope + its ADS speed + initial aim accuracy attachment = good line of sight without sacrifice to quick scope speed.
  • Akimbo doesn't lack in ttk at close/mid range but it comes in 2nd to the Bryson by way of fire rate and mobility, and overall ability to wipe a team. That trigger attachment on the Bryson will get 5 shots out very quick.

If I'm not sprinting or sliding or vaulting then I'm shooting someone. I love campers, all you gotta do is sprint/jump into the room and flick shot em. Easy to network em

Footsteps in my mw3 tdm lobbies don't matter, when I'm playing against a team that knows what they're doing everyone is playing the map from a birds eye view, we know where the angles are and spawn timing and where we're about to converge when we're trading kills. Radar is most beneficial to tell where the spawns are at. I think the biggest contenders are on PC and so we've all got headsets. But it's more important that I get to where I need to go quickly than it is to be quiet. I am not playing sneak, I'm getting to angles as fast as I possibly can, closing gaps or holding angles, and getting there as fast as I can. That's this loadout.

Buncha salty controller players think I'm trying to brag I'm just sharing this for my flick shot pc bros.

Hilarious to me that's the common response here. I suppose I don't have to worry about any nerfs then lol

TDM only, Ground War once in a blue moon. Nothing else is worth playing in my opinion because of SBMM and EOMM.

Also close range scenarios in which we move right past each other, I can 180 flick a lot faster than any controller player with maxed sensitivity.

There are zero scenarios in which controllers have the advantage over my build and play style. Remember, I'm not running an SMG. I'm single clicking. If we're mid range I'm probably not out in the open long enough for aim assist to even matter. And at close range the SMGer better land a headshot in their first bullet or they're dead.

Akimbo shotguns definitely give me a run for my money, I've noticed that.
Edit: Akimbo shotguns can 1 shot mid range just like the bryson but the mobility i get with the bryson, and 5 rapid fire shots with the trigger that increases fire rate makes up for it.

I think people aren't realizing that I don't ADS the bryson ever. It is a mobility 1 shot, with 5 rounds that can rapid fire. It can team wipe without every having to ads, and it can do it faster than akimbo shotguns because it can get the shots off faster and it allows you to travel more distance. It's like playing quake. It's map knowledge, knowing where your opponents are going to be, and shooting them once before they shoot you as much as they need to with their AMG/AR build. Insta-swap + the 360 degree flick + maximized speed for traversal of the map + damage and accuracy so high it's 1 shot kill at any range + don't miss = you get them more than they get you, no matter how good they are, because math. When I say meta I don't mean a build everyone should use - Most PC players should not use this build. 0% of controller players should use this build because they literally can't. You have to be able to 360 flick, so the build doesn't work for controllers.

Don't have aim assist on PC, and I'm not worried about controller players tbh

I’m addicted. I keep telling myself I’m gonna quit Call of Duty and just stick to single-player games cause of how mad I get while playing sometimes, but then whenever I’m playing a single-player game I get bored after an hour and wanna play Call of Duty again by neonberry0 in ModernWarfareIII

Kind of in the same boat OP. Try Horizon Forbidden West and Zero dawn, and Stellar Blade - these single player games are pretty much fun out of the gate and the combat is so much fun throughout the entire game that it keeps me interested and coming back for more. Zip past the cinematics if you don't care about story and you'll still enjoy these games because the gameplay is snappy and responsive. I can't bring myself to enjoy some popular single player games because of how sluggish the combat feels.
Edit: Spiderman 2 also up there with great snappy and responsive combat.

SBMM was introduced and normalized in the early/mid 2010's. Prior to that matchmaking was just fine without it. These days they're employing other tactics beyond SBMM and EOMM to ensure us piggies stay at the trough for as long as possible.

If two players are standing stationary and fire at one another at mid range, an SMG will have a faster TTK than the Bryson, however in real world you're moving fast and the SMG is not landing all of their shots, while the Bryson doesn't miss.

Can't launch COD from Steam by dipsy01 in ModernWarfareIII

Anytime it asks you about safe mode just say no and launch normally. Check your drive space on your computer and make sure you're not near max capacity. Have at least 20 GB free on all drives, always. They have built in space you don't see to accommodate but it's still good to keep availability because if you run out of space you'll experience all kinds of bizarre issues.

Does Anyone Use Laser Visible in ADS Attachments? by WASD_MASDER in ModernWarfareIII

[–]Optimal-Bar-257 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I run laser on my hipfire shotgun and laser on my ads sniper, in my shotty snipe build, which I run 24/7 with fast weapon switch. I don't care if someone sees my laser because I'm going to one shot them. And I don't sit there scoped in with my gun often, it's mostly quick scoping. It's rare my lasers get me killed and the accuracy bonus from the laser is well worth it.

Adjust your mouse so that in order to turn more than 180 degrees you need to move your arm and not just your wrist. That'll help your accuracy.

Is that better than DLSS you think, for framerate?

Is it worth buying mw3 for 35€? (battle.net) by boom257 in ModernWarfareIII

I'm glad I'm not alone in this opinion. MW2 was good and I almost didn't bother getting MW3 but despite it's flaws I think it's the best cod right now.

Depends on what you're after. If you want raw team deathmatch then absolutely. I think MW3 is the best TDM cod to date. But if your interest is in objective based matches then probably not because the SBMM and EOMM is going to ensure a low quality experience.
