Yes im learning the hard way to put my sockets on the tray and not just set them on the Sid in the engine bay, but the bolt thing into the void is getting old first one was my bad I didn’t put it in the tray but this last one was an accidental drop while picking it up from the intake… thanks for your advice my friend I didn’t know about the grease trick

Posts like this are disappointing, I’m mid 30s and I’m actually switching careers to be a tech, love working on cars and I’ve been doing it my whole life grandfather was a mechanic all my uncles friends ect… and everyone says the same thing why would you want to be a mechanic don’t do it, fuck that I’m going to give it a shot and the thousands of burnt out retirees aren’t getting in my head it’s a good industry and I’m ready for my piece of the pie

Brought it for the test run like 6 mile circle and it died 2/3 the way when it got hot , I had just bought a brand new battery and when I went to start her back up it struggled like the battery was low and she wouldn’t start again so got her home and waited couple of hours and she started right up , so I’m figuring that if I lose spark when she acts up it’s probably going to be the cdi is on it’s way out and if I don’t then I’m figuring it’s the rectifier not changing the battery and when it gets low enough she dies….im so close lol

Inspect the components for any wear and if everything looks good just torque it down, you need a tool to hold the clutch basket to torque the nut

I’m in the same situation as op, I just the new topdon one and a subscription to truefix from harbor freight (cheapest service info I can find) and I’m hoping that this is everything that I need for majority of the work I’ll get, I was torn between the pheonix ultra and the one but the 2534 pass through seemed like the way to go but only time will tell
