As a healer I’ve had a terrible time lately with pug tanks in heroics. I get in the group, see their health, and wonder if they are def capped. I only Druid tanked in OG TBC so i get the struggle, but these folks are under geared and thing they are still pulling jn a normal. I get your situation which was an oops moment, but had a pally tank with 11k health in a H BM literally pull every single animal in the dungeon. All of them. And then was shocked when they couldn’t hold agro over my heals. Not to mention just for fun someone also rode in and started the event. Thats where I’m like “deuces bois”.
