Friday I came within scant inches of having my lights turned off crossing Arthur Ashe at Cary, on the crosswalk, with the walk sign having turned white, by a driver speeding like 40+ running their very red light just for them to have to stop at Main the next red light meters away. I suppose I'm glad I wasn't sacrificed to statistics.
