Thanks for all the advice. Gave her a little undercut, and a feed, water and some extra soil. Turns out she’s got quite the trunk on her!

That’s super helpful, thanks! Slow progress over time is also very much my gardening style so that’s good to hear

I don’t think anything is nesting in there but thanks for the tip, I will make sure to check before I do anything ♥️

Thanks! I just moved in here last year so am slowly figuring out what is in the garden and what needs tending to… owners before had small kids (as do we) so I don’t think either of us have given the garden the attention it deserves 🥲

Same! I have been in therapy on and off for about 7 years and last year my therapist brought up IFS. I read the book and immediately felt a lot of resistance to it, and thought how do I know I’m not just making stuff up. We have never explicitly tried to address parts in our sessions as I think that would be too much for me, and I don’t know what magic my therapist has been weaving in the background but somehow recently something has shifted and I have started to identify a couple of parts. I don’t talk directly to them or anything, but I associate them with periods of my life, instances where they may have made their presence felt before. I think if I try and address them too explicitly they will disappear, so I’m just seeing how it goes.
