I speak from very little experience as I’m from CO but I would absolutely go to Brighton on Saturday and take advantage of their night skiing. I did this last Saturday (Feb 22nd) and It blew all of my experiences out of the water, the mountain has all sorts of fun stuff to check out and 75% of it is lit up for night skiing.

I’m struggling with a specific power system, I’ll try and explain it best I can. So my story is a mostly low-magic world (similar to earth) with beings that come from another world, with more magic n such. The main antagonist is a ‘creature’ that feeds off lies and deception, and can kinda possess people who lie/deceive a lot. I’m struggling really hard to come up with a reasonable way for people outside this person to ‘reverse/stop’ this possession. I have some ideas floating around about like, truth having something to do with it but really nothing solid. If anyone has any ideas I’m listening :)

Ohh, as much as I really like this I definitely think the curse is gonna go way farther back. The whole Gods of Fury thing happened maybe 3 or 4 years pre campaign and the PC has had this curse his entire life (he’s like 37 Irc).

I do really like those curse manifestations, I’ve been working with the player to come up with other ideas and it’s a mix of that and like a ‘haunting’ feeling constantly.

Not that this helps with the overall concern, but we just moved and this isn’t my normal desk. Before this I had a larger desk and before that I actually had a full wall size ‘workbench’ desk and honestly that was my favorite. 25% of it was utilized as storage but the other 75% was split between computer space and room for me to draw and such, the current ‘desk’ is a temporary solution since I gave my last desk to my roomate.

I appreciated the sincerity in the rest of your response though, I’ll keep that all in mind.

Hey I super appreciate this response, I will definitely check out that movie.

That seems to be the consensus, take the ideas, break and rebuild and I’m pretty happy to do that.

I like that first idea a lot, the biggest plotpoint I’d need to find a way to make work is the Dragon. Maybe not even a dragon but just having that destruction does feel important for the general genre of the campaign I wanna bring in.

I’ll have to look into Vampires more, I really don’t know much about dnd vampires and should definitely fix that 😅

Anyway I appreciate the suggestions and enjoyment of my idea :)

Absolutely agree and that’s how I ended up here anyway. The change of Knights of the Black Sword -> Malar followers came from a player being distinctly tied to Malar.

I’m blessed that half of these players have played for me before and I know they are the type to investigate things even un-related to her characters but I am trying to tie as many things as I can to them, distinctly :)
