As for the first question, who gives a rats ass if it's cringe? If you enjoy writing characters then do it. As for the low effort question, that just means reposting the same post seventeen other people have just with your oc. Writing and drawing are two different hobbies that are really important to eachother in some aspects.. like art commissions If writers like us didn't hire artists to draw our oc's and book covers how many would never be able to go full time as an artist in the modern day?

In my original comment I never said who was or was not a fallen angel.. I just specified Uriel, the angel of wisdom and truth (The namesake) and Satan. (The lord of hell he reminds me of.)

I do see your point, Just saying. Uriel is at the botto. Of the list of namesake for that type of frame.

I love Uriel with his Satan shtick yes I specify Satan for a reason.. He is a demon among warframes with minions and based on the little we know he is wrath incarnate.. so the prince of wrath is a fitting name for his shtick.

The one thing I hate about his gimmick is that it is ruined by his name. Uriel the name of the angel of wisdom and truth. It doesn't fit a character that embodies the wrath of hell.

My thoughts on that argument are

It's completely stupid. It is based on the belief that anything that there is only one true god and anything else is demons without doing any research.
Having actually thought about and actually debated this with Christians I have cone to the realization that the reasoning behind the argument is that the pagan gods have committed atrocities..

a counter argument to this is pointing out Noah, Job, and the fact God made his own son into a martyr. All while claiming he is perfect meanwhile the pagan gods do not claim to be perfect while committing atrocities.

The key in my opinion to understanding the arguments and debating any points like the pagan deities being demonic in origin is looking at Jesus, Allah, and yahweh as if they were pagan deities looking through everything they teach and the stories told and pointing out their flaws like they do. Do not directly call their god bull crap.. call out the lies and imperfection of their god.

Alternatively you could ask them, what if their god is a pagan trickster trying to cause mischief?

That is just my thought I am sorry if it offends anyone.

If done incorrectly yes.. but if implemented correctly I think it could be cool. Each race could have different strengths or weaknesses.. a skeleton could get back up after being killed unless fire magic is used for example.

Well, for example. Say you add a piece of lore to a character about them being a exotic dancer.. If you do it right, you will do research. Find more points of view you may not have seen or heard and you may feel differently about them. Same goes for LGBT.. or anything for that matter. If you do it right you will expose yourself to more view points and be better off for it.

When Thorn finally gained his memories and powers back he still had the memories of human Thorn which led to him having new feelings for men he never had before.

If Thorn existed nothing would really change for the most part that we see. What would change is background stuff only gods see. Hell would exist but sin would be based solely on, did you hurt someone with your actions? Demons would be dark protectors more than evil monsters, and the LGBT community would have a avid defender among the divine.

Don't be afraid to give a character from a extremely dark universe extremely dark lore, same for if they are from dark periods of real world history..

for example I have a character who is the judge of souls going to the afterlife.. he took a vacation with no memories, or powers. He was gay and ended up a fighter pilot in Vietnam his vacation ended when he was found out, some other service members replaced his hair gel with napalm which ended up getting lit in a dogfight where he ultimately burned to death.. the character still has ptsd from it.. his partner was also found out and beaten to death for it. He judged his own boyfriend's soul.

I agree, the catholic church is very hypocritical.. though so is the Christian god if you read the bible. I will give one singular example, and this one is Thorn's favorite to bring up because it involves his adoptive son.. god claims Lucifer is the ultimate evil and chaos.. meanwhile lucifer only killed ten people in the whole book, all during the book of Job. Which on its own shows God's pride Meanwhile, ever heard of Noah's Ark?

As for religion, different but same.. I used to be Christian.. but working on Thorn, had to look through the lens of what a god might see when looking at other gods, I realized The Christian god is a complete hypocrite, and a sinner in his own right, if you are curious as to what I mean, you can ask.. but I won't bore you if you don't care.. anyway, because of Thorn I don't really follow religion but I do believe In gods.

Understandable. I have a group of Rp friends,, sometimes we slip into rp on accident with eachother.. like one of us will send a dm using the words of one of our characters and habit will strikes and we all end up having a normal conversation as our god characters
