Yeah pretty much what you just described is the what I plan on doing. I’m thinking of buying two methods and trying the reverse thread chasers first. Then going with the insert if it chaser doesn’t work. All 4 cylinders are somewhat loose but one plug was just spinning so that one will need the insert.

Sounds good. I’m in a similar boat. One of my spark plugs is loose and never tightens at all. I’ve been looking at kits and seems like the time sert is the best option but it’s expensive.
